Please don't view this as an attack but your posting really doesn't pass the sniff test.
You mention what you consider to be important accomplishments in your life and you previously infer that you are or were a Ý"house sitter "? ÝDoesn't add up to me. Your ego alone(based off of my assessment of your posts) should or would not allow you to participate in the house sitting game.
Why would you even bother to mention your deeds as some form of validation to a poster whom it is evident based from your responses that you hold in contempt?
Braggadocio is not a sign of a truly intelligent being. Your response seems to be based more on personal insecurities rather than your purported mental prowess. ÝI would not have normally responded to this post except you threw that MENSA reference in your list of accomplishments as some sort of proof of intellectual superiority towards Chompoo. ÝI find that to be very boorish and trifling behavior from one who claims he is gifted and intelligent.
I have found that MENSA members (at least the ones I have encountered) always like to tell other people that they belong to MENSA as some sort of validation of their intelligence. ÝWhy is that?
BTW-I was actually asked by a couple of MENSA members to take an IQ test in order to possibly qualify for membership. I declined for various reasons but the primary one was to become a member of an organization that uses an exam to measure intelligence as the membership criteria, didn't sit well with me. Basically too damn elitist in concept.
I have witnessed brillance and various types of intelligence in all forms during my life and somehow trying to place a number on it seems an exercise in futility.

I won't even bother at the moment to comment on why MX feels the need to tell us that he's such a supreme being (super handsome and a super intelligent -- his posts don't indicate that sort of intelligence but what do I know?) but I thought you'd be interested to know that my father -- who is a doctor of psychology -- has a "genius IQ" and he was the first one to tell me when I was a kid that IQ scores are largely bullshit and all about elitism.

People only become a member of MENSA so they can tell people.
So wanting to become a member should automaticly mean you have failed.
As I've said before I've been in bangkok for 9 years and am happy to admit I know f_ck all about the place.

5555.....it was a spoof take off of the Eminem movie line where he went one on one in the freestyle contest.
Ease up guys.......it is a joke! I even mentioned it at the end "Yanking your chain." Can you guys be ANY more serious on a prostitution forum??? Go get laid and release some of those toxins!

Sorry missed that film. I am not a movie buff. I am actually too busy to go to the movies and I find most to be pure drivel. I catch up on films when I am flying Intl or when I am on holiday in a place like BKK and the young lady I am with may wish to go to the cinema.
Your comment about your posting being a joke is pure drivel too. In every joke there is a kernel of truth. You are using the joke mechanism as a method to remove yourself from accepting responsibility for the caustic remarks that you have made.
Please don't insult the audience by simply stating "I was just kidding around guys". That is, as your screen idol Eminiem would say, " A bitch ass move" to excuse yourself.

It's hard to argue with the old idea that even paying attention to someone who's intentionally trying to annoy is foolish and self-defeating so in that I can agree with Smegma.
But in fact, JJ is right (IMO). This guy seems a bit passive aggressive  and he'd be happy if people would take his posts as gospel but just tosses out "I'm joking" whenever he gets called on his BS. I differ from Smeg on this point; that doesn't strike me as requiring being particularly smart. And as JJ suggests, I'm not sure he's fooling anyone.
Whether he's just being a troll or he actually wants people to believe him, it's a bit of a pity really because he could probably be an interesting contributor to the board.

Okay...to clear it up. ÝThere is one point in all the junk I was throwing. I was being sarcastic to bring attention to the position that sponsorship is IMHO foolish.
That is "In My Humble Opinion" only. ÝIf I had made a watered down post like this one here, and just said you guys are wasting your money, it would not have drawn this much attention to the TOPIC. Ý(I make a distinction between SPENDING money and WASTING it). Unfortunately, everyone seemed to focus on the writer, not the real issue, which is that these girls often/usually/ quite a bit/whatever quantifier you want to place on it, deceive these guys who are on here asking questions about this exact topic. Ý(No news flash there)
I did NOT claim the following:
1) That I am telling people things they do not know (But guys still throw their money away and come here asking how to tell if their TG is lying).
2) That Eminem is my idol. (It was just a movie folks).
3) That I know anything more than everyone about BKK.
If some of you guys cannot read between the lines on my silly posts, I pity what a Thai Bar girl does to you in reality...because she is much more shrewd than what I can ever write on here. (I quit the bar/I am not having sex except with you when you come here every three months/I am saving the money and not giving it to my family or friends/I am going to school/I do not have a Thai or farang boyfriend, /blah, blah,blah)
HELL YES! ÝI would say 8-9 of 10 lie (WARNING...that was an opinion only). So, it is very appropriate to generalize to the population in question. But I TRUELY hope your girlfriend is the 1-2 who is honest and actually did stop her career as a prostitute.
I have already said I am new to this board, but not to Thailand itself. I will continue to explore the forum and have more fun. ÝBut guys, do yourself a favor and focus on the topic.....as it is a waste of time to focus on the writer. That is not at all productive and I guarantee there is nothing that can be printed on this forum that would have any impact on me...and my words should not have any impact on you either. ÝNone of this is rocket science. You should be more pissed that these girls do these things than just some guy on a computer who writes about it.

Why do you suppose people focused on the writer? Have you seen that happen on other threads? Do you think this board would be at all popular if that WAS typical? Could it be, as several people said, that it was the form of the message that caused an adverse reaction to the messenger? And as for "reading between the lines" are we supposed to do that but ignore what's IN the lines? Why not just say it straight out. Maybe we aren't geniuses like you and we assume that what people say is what they mean (on an anonymous forum). You yourself say it's not news so why the need for, as you say, sarcasm intended to bring attention to the topic? Do you feel the topic has been ignored and you are doing people some sort of service?
I don't remember every post but who has really disagreed with the point made in your last post (ie that the girls aren't neccessarily trustworthy)?
And how have you come to the conclusion that in 50% of Thai homes, parents are teaching thier daughters how to exploit falangs for profit?
Anyway, despite what you may think from this post, I'm honestly not trying to extend any sort of argument and though I realize you don't need my approval (why would you?) FWIW I see more of an interest in genuine communication in your last post and it's much more enjoyable and productive. That's just opinion too.
