Aussie dollar fell to 93 cents - (not 96)...From 110 cents - so it was a big fall-
But it rose again after the sell off - which was about the markets...outside Australia... (not commodities)....or chinese demand
Its rise again has Nothing to do with commodities as the chart YOU wanted me to post shows-
This post isnt about you or the USA dollar its about showing that Australian Dollars continue to be attactive

Dg, if you make decent money the currency rate really doesn't matter...... I still do the same things I did when the dollar Baht rate was 46.... now it is 30.... so what?
This reminds me of people that bitch about a 10 bagt tip for a taxi driver or people that look to save 100 Baht going to Pattaya......

If you bought Aussie dollars using American in 2001 you would have doubled your money now.
Its nice as an australian to see savings and travel costs less and whore more for less-
naturally the reverse is true - you went from High baht to low- loosing almost 35% in value-
Sure threads like this annoy but its not intended to-
The European markets are a worry Thailife and I know its not over-
If They crash the Americans will struggle and China go off by a few % growth and that will hurt Australia-
But really my friend Australia is by all accounts looking Great-
