Say, a foreign business sells products in LOS, how easy is it for the corporation to get the money out of LOS?  My guess is that it shouldn't be too difficult as I have seen markets flooded with Japanese, Chinese appliances and US computer parts(Intel, AMD.)  So is it on an international standard (for large corporations atleast)?

Thanks.

(Yay! I just noticed, I'm a beer bar pro!)

Do what the big boys do.

There was an article in one of the broadsheets a couple of years ago in the u.k. about Sony.
Sony(u.k.)Ltd was and still is doing major business in the uk market but when investigated their accounts showed hardly any profit. The reason for this was the more money Sony(u.k.)Ltd made the more Sony Corporation Japan charged them for the goods, therefore all the profit was in the Japanese company and Sony as a whole paid hardly any u.k. taxes. They also upped the rates on components that they were shipping to the u.k. for assembly.

So you could follow their example and have all the profit in the corporations home country.

But an even better ruse would be to use an offshore company which pays virtuall zero tax. So the corporation sells the goods to your offshore company at a low rate which then sells it to your thai company a virtually the retail price so therfore little profit in the thai company but lots of profit in your offshore tax free haven.

Thanks!  Regarding the offshore idea, I was pretty much thinking the same thing.
