Yes, I agree, 1,500 is not a lot...
I'm quite sure she was ready to reciprocate with some physical activity, which right away means that she has no plan for paying back the money.
Not that I'm concerned about getting money back for a transaction, it's just the lead-off of "borrow" that makes it seem more presentable to the BG...
