I've been reading this forum for a while. This is my first post. I have been to BKK a couple of times but never made it to the other side of the CP river. I'd like to go there and try a TG at CP3. Is it worth the trip. How can I get to it from Nana Hotel.

Depends, but I assume that you are taking cab. Tell the cab driver to head to Arun Amarin and go via the Rama 8 bridge across the CP River. Once you get across the bridge, you have two choices : you either get off the cab when you see the CP3 bldg on your right which might be partially blocked by the decending slope of the flyover OR get the cab to make a U-Turn under the flyover and it is about less than 50m after the U-Turn on your left.

I had one of the best soapies I have ever had at CP3.
Admittedly, this was some time ago and I haven't had occasion to venture over there recently, but it is well worth the trip.
I didn't think that the operation over there was as big as the CP2 on Sri Ayuthaya, but it had some choice ladies.
My only worry at the time was that she looked incredibly young. But in my inocence I thought that since I wasn't picking up a freelancer off the street and that in actual fact, CP3 were employing her and it was they who were providing her massage skills for me, I thought that if she did just happen to be border-line age-wise, I wouldn't have much to worry about.
Luckily, over the years that sort of naivety and downright stupid, not to mention dangerous thinking has been left behind.
But I must say that CP3 is well worth the visit, even if it is over on the other side of the river.
And when you get there, don't be tempted by the huge monoliths of illuminated competition glaring at you from across the intersection. They may be as good, and are also mostly for Thais but are more expensive that CP3.
By the way, there are loads of other massage, feelie bars and other bars on the other side of the river mainly catering to Thai tastes.
Why do you think that the falang bars aren't inundated with young and old Thai males ? It's because there are literally thousands more for them. And the ones that are set aside for us falang expats, tourists, visitors, businessmen, are so that we don't spoil the show for them. A lot of Thais would feel very uncomfortable about even considering going with a girl who has been with a falang.
The real expert brother-adventurers on this forum, and we all know of a number of dauntless explorers, will verify the fact that the P4P that is obviously open to us, is but the tip of the iceberg of P4P transactions in the area, and that goes for the whole of South-East Asia.

In Singapore, whoever pays goes. No distinctive separate markets. Except maybe Orchard Towers to con unwary farangs to pay over market prices.

Some friends of mine did go to some karaoke places around Pinklao and were simply ignored by all the staff. They tried to get their attention, calling for them in Thai, but the staff did not serve them.
