If you want to Emmanuelle, Nataree,.... by the new underground train, you should alight at Huay Kwang station, not Ratchada station.
One more thing, the new underground train is really convenient to those Ratchada MP fans. However, quite a few good MPs (such as BKK Cozy, LA Defence...) are not located in Ratchada area

"Take the BTS Skytrain from MBK (National Stadium) to Asoke (switching at Siam). Then walk north on Asoke a short distance to catch the subway going north to Ratchadapisek Road and exit on the Suthisan train stop."
Do you have any idea how long this journey would take ? Say, on a Friday night at about 7.00 going from Pathumwan Princess Hotel to Poseidon.

The time of day will not affect the BTS or Subway rides much. It should take about 30 minutes combined for the BTS and Subway rides, and then about a 10-15 minute walk to Poseidon.
Poseidon looks to be about half-way between the Parcharat Bamphen and Suthisan subway stops (maybe a little closer to Suthisan). But if you want to take a cab from a Subway exit to Poseidon, get off at Parcharat Bamphen on the West side of the exit so you will be going with traffic headed north to Poseidon. Rachadapisek is a very difficult road to cross on foot or even by cab. The cab ride should be short since traffic is usually not as bad that far up Rachadapisek.
The above information is based on looking carefully at the new Subway map. I have been to Poseidon by cab, but I have not yet been in BKK since the Subway opened.

So about 45 minutes estimate.
I wonder how long it would take in a Cab or Tuk-Tuk from outside MBK to Poseidon direct ?
I have done it a few times before but always at around 11.00 pm when there is no traffic and it only takes 15 minutes.
