I do not remember Poseidon barring people of Indian ancestry.
I remember going there with a Sri Lankan that is huge (in overall dimensions) and dark as the blackest African. In the third floor while having some drinks, he tried to get a couple of girls; both refused to go with him (remember some 3rd floor girls do not go with farangs either). I think it was not so much his ancestry, but also his overall size is very intimidating.
Then we moved down to the second floor fishbowl. There he made his selection. The girl when she saw him had a look of surprise in her face, but then moved up to the room with him. No issues with him being from the sub-continent.

I recall they have Greek, Egyptian, Thai, Victorian, Cabin styles special room. Don't remember any Palace style room.
May just be a communication issue.
There is only 1 Palace in BKK.
That is where the King stays.
No wonder the Thai manager was not so friendly.
Thais revere their very good King.
I respect the Thai King too.
Maybe the manager thought somebody was being rude to his Royal Highness by saying he wants to do his thing with the Poseidon girl in the Palace.
If I was Thai, I would not tolerate that.

I have made use of some of the suite rooms in POseidon.
Some floors on the standard rooms has a different theme, this is what people have been talking about; the girl has no ability to select the room, it is designated by the staff in the cashier area generally. You can ask for specific themes, off hand I cannot recall what the themes are.
The suites are for multiple persons, and have a lounge + bedrooms with karaoke etc. The larger rooms have spas, saunas, etc. The largest of these rooms is on the top floor with (if I recall correctly) 11 bedrooms, a 2 storey lounge including a spa the size of most of the average rooms and sauna, karaoke etc.
Normally, there is a price for each suite, it works out at maybe 1500b per person for 3 hours for the room; the top room I think is 18,000b for the night. Depending on whether you have a membership, you may be able to get the room for free as part of the deal of the membership once or twice.
Most people go there for fun, dinner, sing a few songs, go and do their thing, then back and so on. And to drink a lot.
No doubt, there is some special room available for people going alone, I am sure if you ask you will be told about it; or perhaps there is a minimum 2 bedroom suite - not entirely sure of this having never gone for this option.
For people of Indian descent and some other ethnicities; for a variety of reasons some people in Thailand specifically do not like Indians. Racism is a terrible thing. In western countries where it is evident my money is not welcome there, I don't complain; I speak with my money, and take it elsewhere. I suggest you do the same, and in the meantime also learn how to write coherently without swearing the whole time.

I have many Indian Thai friends who have frequented Posiedon with no problem. From time to time, discrimination pops up all over.
The suites are a lot of fun with the spa. Get your mates and jump in!!
