Can't remember if it was this place or VIP, but one of the fishbowl gals walked out from the right side doorway to get a look at who was outside. First time I ever saw a girl walk out like that. At the time, was only me and the 2 Japanese dudes I followed in. Girl says "blah, blah, 'farang'...", then girls inside the bowl start perking up a bit. Looked left, didn't seem them Japanese guys any more, decided to follow their lead.

VIP and Mei Hua have a hard time competing with the Immanuel, Poseidon, Copacabana, Caesar Palace, and so on.
Maybe cannot entice the real pretty ones to stay.
It is rather down market. Not in the same grade as the first four I named above.

I think it would be great if Cat Woods would try Cupidy & then tell us how it compares to the MP further up Ratchada.
BTW if driving you will be blinded by all the lights from Fortune Town to Suttisan. Mini traffic jam every night opposite Lotus from cars turning into what looks like a down market RCA wannabe that has popped up.

As a matter of fact, I did try Cupidy once (sort of) many years ago.
Why sort of? Because I ordered take-out.
I never wanted to talk about that round as it triggered the beginning of my foolish year-long relationship with an MP girl. I was relatively inexperienced then.
Anyway, let's skip the unhappiness and focus on what you guys want to know. Even after 11:00pm, there were still a lot of choices both on the sideline and behind the glass. I have no comment on their facilities as I did not use their room. My gut feel is the should be better than average.
But I believe Cupidy has 2 flaws. I think they pay taxi driver commission. The manager was kind of pushy in getting tips.
I have not gone back since then.

My visit to Cupidy last year was very good.
True the papsan directly asked me for 100B tip at the desk. I just looked at him and said "what for ??" and
went on to the room with my lady. 1800B.
This girl sat on the top row of the bowl and signalled
to me on and off for 15 minutes as I had a hard time choosing and was resisiting her. Finally I gave in and picked her. She approached me at the desk and with a genuinely sexy smile wrapped her arms around my torso, leaned the side of her head against my chest and hugged me. I got hard immediately and proceed to have one of the best 90 min of my life. Too bad I was leaving for home the next day.
I doubt she is still there today it has been so long.

If you want to choose by yourself tell the guide that you don't need any help & thus they won't be entitled to any tip.
MP's paying taxi comissions are common in BKK.
(Being that I am not in Viet Nam I don't use the words Mamasan & Papasan, sound childish).

With a little homework, planning and willingness to walk around a bit, mongers could eliminate the taxi commission hit-up by selecting nearby hotels, office buildings or shopping areas as drop-off points instead. The MRT has obviously made getting to the general vacinity of the Ratchada MPs easier, but the hotel-to-hotel system has worked pretty good for me. My 2 baht...
