Barbara has changed ownership, now in the same group as Long Beach, and has been renamed Malibu.
Same deal as before, prices circa B1800, not a big selection, but apparently not doing much business from what I saw there. One 20-year-old said she sat all day from 2pm till midnight without a single customer.
Copacabana has also been sold by Chuwit, the second hand information I got is that it's now in the same group as Mirage.
As previously posted, Emmanuelle is now in the New Cleopatra group.
Seems Chuwit departing has seen existing players take advantage of his predicament. New entrants apparently not anxious to get into the industry for some reason. TIT.

Quite far... (2.83 kilometer) The MRT is at the beginning of New Phetburi Road, the MPs almost at the end.
By taxi - around 15 minutes (more if traffic jam).
By foot - around 45-60 minutes

Take a taxi down's much comfy, or drive in yourself, a few options and routes.

Still Jah yin yin and looked up, I immediately found heaven on earth. I saw the big sign lit up on a tower building read "Plaza Entertainment". I headed over and walked into Cupidy with the big sweat around 11:00 pm.

A funny story.... you wanted to go to Sri Ayutthaya Road, but ended up on Petchburi.
Real distance apart...
BTW From the Asia Hotel you start walking and turn right on Sri Ayutthaya (the road after Petchburi).
If you walk that way I don't think you'll see the car showrooms.

Honda Pranakorn, their main branch and headquarters, is on Sri Ayutthaya Road, about 1 kilometer away from J1 (CP1) towards Phaholyothin Road on the left hand side of the road if you are driving towards Phaholyothin. CP2 is on the opposite side of the road from J1, about 100 meters back.

Shame the name of CP1 has stuck with J1, because it offers nothing like the great service and opportunity and range of choice that you experience in CP 2 or CP 3 come to that.
J1 is a rip-off place and many farang have been quite dissatisfied with it.
