Only the higher end of MPs impose surcharge and there is not standard rate...the point is to BARGAIN HARD.
Tourism has declined here..sales at MPs have dropped..so we should not give in easliy. Tell them that you work and live in thailand..

"ha roy baht dai mai?" - 500 Baht ok?
if not agreeable, then use sign lanaguge to bargain the price down..hope that helps....
And remember: cab driver take a cut..so do not ask the driver to bring you on a MP tour...tell him exactly where to go and decline any invitation by the driver to show you other places...

Well, I cannot be considered a farang by Thai people but certainly I am not Asian at all. I can easily get confused by locals as one more Khun Thai hanging around je!

Does Zodiac still go with thier reported No Farang policy? Seems that some of the reported prices have been coming down a little with the MP's either due to slow season, SARS, or both...

The selection yesterday night was huge. Been there many times before but was disppointed cos during most of my visits there was nothing for Pinga's taste. This time I was sharp and a sideline got all my attention....
Girls
The fishbowl was full but none of them really fancy my taste. I focus on the ones sitting on coaches all along the wall. These chicks are divied in two groups and could see young cute ones as well. yep!
Prices
The fishbowl girls were available for B/.1.600 per 2-hr session. You can request the assistance of the papasan who is very helpful. No surcharge for regulars and farangs can negotiate a fair treatment here.
The sideliners were divided into two groups. The girls sitting on the left of the f_cking loooong coach are ready to go for B/.1.800. The ones sitting on the left will suck your brain for B/.2.500 (suspiciously young ones).
