I suspect we are seeing an instance of Thai style market economics. If your business is being driven under by massively superior competition pay off the police to charge them with the same activities that your business is engaging in - only less efficiently. When I was having an extended stay in Bangkok about this time last year I made a point of visiting most of the soapies around Rachada and Nataree out-performed all of them on just about all points - notably courtesy, pricing and last but far from least, quality of the women. I wonder if the same thing happened to Barons Barbers all those years ago. Closure of Nataree makes Bangkok a significantly less attractive destination for P4P,at least in my book.

Pretty disturbing that most of the soapy MPs are shut down in the Ratchadapisek area. The only ones that are still open are Alaina, Merci, Hi Class and The Lord. Alaina-Merci only have models and the listed price starts ~4000 Baht and goes up with the higher class models. You can negotiate for lower prices. I assume it's the same for High Class. The Lord always had a different price range.
