I'll be heading to Bangkok soon and I am wondering about the massage places. I would love to try a soapy massage, but I am sure my wife would not like if I even suggest it, of course. Is there a massage place in Bangkok that my wife and I can have separate rooms for massage and everything on the inside and outside look normal? She can get a regular massage, and I can have a soapy massage or have a little fun on top of getting a massage without her knowing? I have heard alot of traditional masasge places will not offer any other type of service unless you give them your hotel card, which I can obviously not do.
I wish I had an opportunity to get to Thailand ealier, seems so many cool things to do there.
I will appreciate any help.

You could do what a friend of mine did in a similar situation.. one afternoon his wife was tired and wanted to take a nap.. he told her he was going to go for a walk and look around ..
He ended up at Darling massage and when he got back he told me it cost B2,500 (B25 to the US$) and I said, f_ck $100 and he said "best money I ever spent"
Do your research for a MP near your hotel or pick a hotel near a massage parlor .. You can do what you want to do in about two hours ..
make use of the old song "50 ways to leave your lover" even if only for two hours ..
A good shower afterwards and then a brisk walk will get you all sweaty so when you get back to the hotel you take another shower .. no chance she smells another woman ..
Your only risk is if she is horny when you get back to the room and you can't perform.. boy that is a lot of pressure

HA HA! Great story! I also had thought about that, but I figure she'd want to come walk around with me so that probably wouldn't work.
We'll be staying at the Le President Meridian the beginning of August. Anything near there?
Are there any decent traditional massage places near that hotel? No sex service? Figure I would ask as I would like to try both anyway.

Send your wife shopping in places such as MBK, and you can easily take the BTS to Darling (Asoke)  or to Baron Barber (Phrom Phong). Or you could try out the university students there. Check out this report.

Baron's barber shop with one of the best oil massagesin BKK is right next door to Emporium, the upscale shopping mall on Sukhumwit. Could you loose her there for a couple of hours? Ofcourse she could run riot with your credit card there!

It was in 1997, so not that long ago. He is going back soon, this time by himself..
As far as his leaving his wife.. that is not something I give advice on.. Guys that have been married for 40+ years often don't want to leave the wife, they just want to have some fun with a younger girl ..
What difference does it make if the guy is married or not.. if you object to this behavior, then what about all the fornicating that guys on this list do??
Seems you are a bit judgemental .. hope in your travels to Thailand that you only have sex with the girl you marry and after you are married so you can live up to your own values

Thanks for all your replies. It seems I will be stuck. I asked about some of those things and my wife really doesn't want to do any of those things, so... I did hear on another forum here that someone did I want wanted but they didn't say where. Well I guess I could always hope for a business trip to BKK someday. HA!
