Okay guys, had my first soapy this afternoon and after checking out the forum discussions it was at Cupidy. Words fail me about the setup of this joint. Impressive.
Anyway the papasan hung around but I got a beer and took about 10 minutes to make my choice. Papasan said the girls behind the glass in the fishbowl were the cheapest at 1,500 baht. I chose from the other area. It was quite amusing watching the antics of the girls competing for my attention. Paid 2,400 baht for 2 hours.
Up we go and despite it being my first time, based on forum descriptions I got all of the standard routine. My selection was a cute 24 year old, first day back at work after a 2 month break at home in city a couple of hours away. She didn't really react genuinelly to my tougue & finger work so decided on delivering the main course. She certainly came alive then. I really think she was quite hanging out for it. Lasted a commendably long time but don't think I got her across the line.
So now I can debate oily vs soapy. I like both but I think I'd just put the oily ahead. A two hour oily at Baron (sob) sets you back 2,100 so the price was equivalent. Any tip is as they say 'up to you'.
Only one criticism of Cupidy; I really didn't need the small cockroach crawling out of the mattress area drain and coming over to check on the action.

I did this walk a couple of years back. It wasn't too bad. Now I forget which Soi off of Sukhumvit that I took. I can't find a map that helps me. So maybe one of you knows which Soi it is. TIA

It's a fair little hike from say the Grace Hotel. 15 or 20 mins. You will need a bath after walking it.
Moto Taxi's will buck the traffic but I am not recommending you do it that way. Alternatives are Asoke & A Wit A U.
Screw a bunch of Tuk-tuk's. Take an air con cab. Cheaper & less smoke dirt & heat.

He means you can go up Asoke and turn left onto Petchiburi to get there. OR
You can go up Wittayu (Wireless Rd) and turn right onto Petchiburi to get there. This one does not require a U turn to get to the correct side of the road where the turn into the driveway is.
