The trick to getting the prime gals here and even at most other places is a good relationship with the papasan. I have to give my guy at Catherine a call some time before popping in to see which good ones haven't been booked yet. Tried to pop in unannounced a few times and been disappointed almost each time. Of course, his tip should also be above standard so that he remembers you over the other cheapskates.
The great ones almost never sit in the fishbowl.

Catherines is alive and kicking, some exterior building improvements and the lobby area looking at the Fb has been painted and tidied up, same papa's, 3pm on sunday around 30 girls in the FB, IMHO 3 or 4 8's, the rest hovering between 3 and 6. same price structure as before.
Word to the wise, be careful of age in this place, if they were shut down a few months back for what was suggested earlier, then no lesson has been learnt by the owners.
Has anyone tried the very Thai place about 5metres past catherines, same side of the soi, it has a Thai massage sign out front, big building ?

Haven't been to Catherines in over 2 years and seems no new reports here for 2 yrs also.
Last time I was there, it was closed due to police raids and rumours that the place will undergo changes -including name change and management changes. Anyone know what the latest on this MP?
If place is still around, have the standard 2 shot/2hour deal gone away or still in effect?

About getting the best girls at a Soapy.......
True the best get bookings but rarely are they back to back.
So if you can avoid the papasan pressure to select
right away, order a drink and sit down and relax.
You can not do this easily at some places like Nataree.
But at Utopia or Bangkok Cosy and others, there is a lounge where you can sit and see the ladies.
First see it you spot a lady who does it for you.
If not wait. The booked ladies are upstairs and will be coming
down one by one slowly. Pick from this group and you
will likley hit the hot ones.
Just a suggestion.

Made another trip to check out Catherines MP a few weeks back. One papa there remembers me from my numerous visits the past couple years. I didn't see anything that caught my eye on first look, so sat down to knock back a beer and watch the fishbowl rotation. Papa occasionally stopped by my table to point out new arrivals. 3rd time was a charm, took his recommended cutie upstairs for 2500THB. Very serviced-oriented gal, not passionate per se but aimed to please, I just followed her lead. 2 hours, 2 pops, BBBJ w/ covered FS. Impression I got was I her first farang customer. While she was fixing her hair and dressing as the session ended, she was looking at me in the mirror smiling and saying something in Thai.... blah, blah, farang, blah, blah, farang, blah, blah, farang kah... She motioned to take a picture together with her cellphone, I politely refused. Left the room and headed downstairs. Cutie pie gal stole a kiss before we made it down to the lobby. Tipped Papa and thanked him for the recommendation.
Catherines MP is a little off the beaten bath, but I do enjoy stopping by even if I don't close a deal. Very laid back environment, reasonable prices for food & drinks.

Catherine was 2 shot/2hour standard deal but don't remember the price being as high as 2500b?
shouldn't it be more in the range of 1200b? haven't been back here in 2 years so not 100% sure what the blue and red badge girls are charging these days.
