My view on tipping is that it has nothing to do with what someone else has to pay. These girls get all different tip amounts and because one person gives 1,000 baht I'm sure they don't expect that from everyone. Frankly that amount of money means almost nothing to me but means everything to these girls. It makes me feel a lot better to leave a good tip, especially if the girl doesn't bug me about the tip before the session ends and she does a good job. If someone else feels a 300 baht tip is sufficient then so be it but I would feel terrible if I left that amount.

If I read this correctly, PerseusHermes was complaining about the BT 100 given to the towel lady.
That is beyond outrageous. Everyone knows the price of towels in soapies all over LOS will now go through the roof... until cheaper Chinese imports undermine the market and this artifical bubble that was created by PaulThomas implodes.
It may be a good idea for everyone to stop going to soapies until this inflated market condition has passed.

Nothing against the size of your tip, give your money to whoever you want. One thing I would say though is if a girl asks for more on top of an already reasonable tip, she needs to be set straight. Of course she'd rather have 1000 than 700 but having the cheek to ask for it is a bit much. That girl probably tries to milk the highest tips she can. If you'd offered her 300, she'd want 500. If you'd offered her 1000, she'd have asked for 1500. It's up to you to decide what you tip, not her.
