It is amusingly Victorian and it usually occurs when someone is trying to suppress a feeling, and this supression somehow makes all comments feel like others are mocking him for it.
I have seen some people using so much of their energy to thrust their heads up high that they become unaware of their own needs and desires down below. Of course these needs and desires don't just go away. They grow on their own, unbeknownst to the high head. They grow and grow, and eventually it becomes a losing battle where the high head is struggling to maintain its heigth. Any suggestion that the head is not high, or encouragment to be high, is taken as an insult by the struggling high head, as evidence of its failures to be most high.
You can imagine what follow next, can't you?

Yes.................seems to be a forest of misunderstandings and asumptions here recently.

I used to go to Darlings some time ago but now don't. And I don't recomend it for any guys to go either.
Over the years it, I'm sure, has had its share of some lovely girls, as my memory serves me.
But it has ben there just off Sukhumvit, in a primary position for years and years, and it just seems to me that it has lent heavily on its location and the few really great girls to maintain its reputation.
It never invested in redecoration or more up-to-date facilities and allowed what it had to deteriorate and go downhill, while all around it, other little ( admittedly oily ) massage parlours were opening up around it at that end of Sukhumvit that had more facilities, were cleaner and cheaper, had new and pleasant decor and furnishings, girls who were comparable or better and which provided a more satisfactory experience.
In fact it became another Annies, as its resources and facilities fell into disrepair, whilst still retaining its rerlatively high cost, believing that its girls and unadventurous tourist customers could maintain its reputation.
And the belief that it still held a primary position in the field was reflected in the old papasan's attitude of take it or get out......with no pleasantries or polite engagement.
Sad really, especially since it enjoys such a prime site and has over the years had some fantastic girls ( although it has had its share of others).

But for the record and for my reputation as an internet sex forum artist, let me make it perfectly clear that it was not my intention to play Mr. Justice. It was my intention to play Mr. Psychiatrist. There's a big difference. Mr. Justice makes an appearance in person nowadays mostly in booked private showings. The thing is, his judgements sound so final, it's difficult for him to open with other acts without sort of rubbing off on them or dilluting them. They don't think it's fair and won't play with him. Mr. Psychiatrist is equally as unpopular because of his habit of appearing on stage with a full length mirror hidden behind the wings that he stands before. Kind of like the magician's trick, the audience thinks he's addressing them, but it's really his own reflection. The illusion is complete as he makes vague comments such as, "I have seen some people..." or exaggerates some grostesque feature of himself such as a rigid neck, nose in the air, prurient mind, etc. Very convincing, but fails to reach audiences who are not familiar with absurd productions. Both of these are rather eccentric characters, and although as I mentioned, not popular at large, should be stock formulae in anyone's old repertoire.
First shows are free, as master factorx remarked; after that the charges start at 2 cents, and after that it exponentiates wildly. But I encourage folks to come and go as they like to these exhibitions, if I may call them that, as I usually wind up paying for it anyway.
Photos are permitted, even the cheap shots taken on the fly, as it were (digitally?), and so often accompanied with rotten tomatos and squashed cabbage leaves.
Now.
Darlings... Darlings... has got to improve a little bit in my estimation if it wants to compete with the current market (oilys, included), at least for my money. However, I'm sure there are steady stream of customers. Maybe tourists, as CC points out. Maybe devoted fans. Some people like the dinginess though too. A seedy feeling.
