It's not the system that's the problem, it's the girl. These girls would rarely, at least in my experience, request anything from a local businessman, prepaid or not. They know better. When a foreigner of any nationality is thrown into the mix, all the cultural "rules" are out the window, sometimes for better, often for worse.
