Emmanuelle's is closed for renovation. I have been a knocking, but not one is answering. Some girls went to Hi-Class next door. Supposedly the new open date is June 1st, but do not count on it. I hope the money he got is going into his mayoral race.

If you mean Patpong, then it might be better to take the BTS to the Asoke stop and then get cab from there. Traffic is the big problem and it is hard to predict taxi prices (or travel time) because of this.
All taxis have meters if they say taxi meter on them. If the driver does not start the meter when you get in, tell him "Taxi Meter" and keep repeating until he starts the meter. If he does not, get out (you will probably have plenty of oppurtunity to exit the cab when stalled in traffic).

Been to Emanuel this afternoon on my very first visit to Ratchada area, I must say I am impressed with the overall quality of the place
Was quoted 3000 bahts first price ( I had no clue of normal price, but if I compare with Darling I must say Darking is FAR overpriced ), took a very nice and smiling girl (Number 95), 20 YO from ChiangMai, No english but good attitude and VERY nice body, tiped her 1000 bahts (well earned because she did most of the Kama Sutra with me during this session, I could see her eye going wider and wider when I made her try new position)

Did some window shopping at Emanuelle past couple visits to BKK. Sideline generally hit & miss, FB mostly miss (JMHO). Made an impulse buy last BKK visit on a sideliner (May.06).
