Just wanted to let all know, if you are taking the bus to avoid the taxi charge it is not necc. Prices are same at CP2 if you take a cab, or if you walk from sukhumvit. No taxi surcharge at CP2 is my point. I think this place runs a really upfront business (prices are posted and same for falang and thai) and that is why it is one of my favorites.

Stopped by a couple weeks ago (Monday night) after inspecting the line-up at J. One (aka CP1). Walking in to the parking lot, I noticed every space was filled, and a lot of Mercedes' parked near the entrance too.

I should have walked out, but was tired from the heat and the walk over from the BTS station, so I ordered a beer and sat down to catch my breath.
Left side of fishbowl had maybe 8 marginally attractive body massage girls, some were chesty thankfully. Center had only 1 sex-only "superstar" sitting towards the front, who was fairly good looking and chesty, but the look on her face just screamed, "I don't want to be here". Also in the center were around a dozen young, runts-of-the-litter sitting towards the back (also for sex only, no massage). On the right side of the fishbowl.... "Holy sh_t, think I just figured out who owns all those Mercedes!". There had to be at least forty, over-40 women on the right side (Thai massage + sex), preening themselves in the reflection of the glass.
"Uhhhhhm, check please!"
Interesting experience to watch and soak it all in, but CP2 wasn't getting my business that night. Tanked my beer and headed for the entrance. After not finding anything of interest at J1 or CP2, decided to pass on the place next to CP2 and humped it back to the BTS and settled down for more drinks on Soi Cowboy.

To go to CP1 & CP2 the easyer option from Sukhumvit is to take BTS and stop at Phaya Thai, exit next to the Florida hotel and walk, the sign for both are visible from there and they both are less than 5mn walk.
I been to CP2 recently and there was a huge selection of....very ugly older womens!
When I am reading that some peoples think that the Eden girls are not good looking and in another post they recomend CP2 or Annies I wonder if they dont need new glasses (or even a guide dog?)

CP2 is on Sri Ayuthia Road.
It is next to the Toyota showroom.
A bit down the road from DaVinci furniture shop - can't miss that as brightly lit at night.
It is directly opposite a budget hotel called Europa Inn.
Used to be quite good. Lately they have declined in standard as the pretty young girls may have gone to other MPs. Still, I guess to each his own. What you like may be 'ugly' to others and vice versa.
Was there last month and a black (think from US) took 2 of the gals at one go for a session..do I say African-American to be politically correct? Think he chose the older gals on the left. Not those from the centre.
Walk to the connected restaurant/stage show next door if you get bored.

Hey, I like your wayfinding and URLs and maps to newly discovered spa, MP, restaurant places mentioned in this forum. Let you know in case you thought effort not appreciated. 
In CP2 they got about 10 to 20 singers depending on the high or low season. They sing Thai songs by rotation. Sometimes 3 of them sing together at the same time. After their number on stage, they come down to the dining area and join the guests who informed the waitresses that they are interested in a particular singer. Some are pretty.
If you like them, then negotiate "other activities".
My friends did, the next day the pretty singer drove them around BKK in her own car. I'm sure they rewarded her. They were on business in BKK.
Some singers have supporters amongst the diners who garland them with strings of money. Have seen 5,000 Baht on a girl after just one song. CP2 mgt sew the Thai Baht notes on a string and hang it round the girl's neck.
Very stressful and high pressure on the poor girls.
How would you feel if you were a singer and the other singer next to you got 5,000 Baht on stage for all to see, and you got zero?
CP1 got same singer-action on stage.
Both CP1 and CP2 got guest relation officers - GROs who can sit with you while you have dinner. Again, you can book them out for other activities. Met one who was a salesgirl in Seacon Square in the dayitme.
It is nice way to start a friendship with a lady without going straight to bed at the start. You can just be platonic friends with the girl and not go to bed.

Great intel, thanks! I'm somewhat familiar with the karaoke/stage singer operation. I've seen a similar set up at Catherine MP, believe they also have one at Krungthon Complex, and have some experience at a karaoke cabaret place down in Nakhon Si Thammarat. Understand that (more attractive) karaoke performers are basically locked in until closing time, but (sometimes less attractive) 'GROs' (love that terminology!) and the like can leave the premises at their leisure.
Follow-on Q's:
- How to get to the restaurant/cafe area in CP2? I'm familiar with front entrance and basically only oriented with the fishbowl area. Side entrance, or continue through past the fishbowl viewing area?
- From your experience, do you think its possible to get by with buying performers a couple rounds of those flower strands, drinks and such (i.e. is 5K baht strand the standard/expected "BF" for the hotter performers?) ? At the place I went to in NST, the drill was buy her some gum, then a cup of coffee, then flower strands. After that, she's yours after she finishes work.

I went to Catherine and there was a pretty singer but I had a cough then, so no action to take her out. Just tipped her a good amount as she accompanied me for dinner. I think she was better than what was available in the fishbowl. Hey, I missed the 5th storey model area. Only realised that when I read this forum.
Have not tried the Krungthong Complex yet. Next trip I will check it out. Must cross the river.
Nakhon Si Thamarat is a long way out of BKK. I guess the further away from the country's Capital City, the girls are less demanding. It would be the same situation if we transplant the analogy to say, for example, Beijing or Tokyo. In some ways, I love that, as the country girls seem more "innocent" and less money grubbing than the city girls.
It may be nicer to meet a GRO you like, then develop a relationship. It seems a more gradual buildup and may be longer term. She may have a normal day job.
Typically in Asian countries, singers are considered higher 'class' of entertainers than ladies who sit inside fishbowls. So expect to spend more money on the singers. I have seen some who are indeed more beautiful and talented than the average lady in fishbowl. And in addition, they can sing well and dance too. These are out of my scope. Top female singers like that are "booked" by the rich fatcats who have millions$$$.
5,000 Baht is not the standard amount to give. It is considered high. Usually it is just a signal to all present that one of the diners is keen on bedding this singer. How much he pays her for sex later is between two of them. Surprise! These big tippers are usually Thai locals.
He will be surrounded by many of the singers at his table.
Some diners give 500 Baht garlands.
In my nation, I have seen jerks  give the equivalent of 48,000 baht to the singer for singing just one song. In my country, it is not given in form of a currency note garland. It is just a sash with the amount sewn on it. And when this same singer sang her second song, this jerk gave her another sash, -- equivalent to another 48,000 Baht. 
Wish I had money like that to throw away literally.
