went at colonze 2 the other day on rachada soi7 (can't miss the big ass sign LOL) near robinson...
nice new place, but not so friendly papa who denied me model upstairs section, but anyways I choose an above average tall chick!
room had multiple vcd porn channels that not always worked, but anyway nice touch but nothing spectacular for a new place?

Could someone be kind enough to give me the directions to Colonze2 - is it walkable from Fortune Hotel ? Also is there any great difference between Colonze1 and Colonze2 ?
Any comments much appreciated.

Looking at the first set of maps below, I'd say your best bet is to take the MRT subway to Thai Cultural Center station (one stop up from Fortune Hotel area), then walk up to Soi 7. Colonze 2 is 200-300 meters in, basically at the end of the road. I made the mistake of wandering there from the other direction (Hway Kwang station). A walkable distance to Colonze 2 from that side (approx. 20+ mins), but I wouldn't do it again. Guessing maybe 7-10 min walk from Thai Cultural Center station, not sure.
Second set of maps are to Colonze 1, not sure if the two MPs are close to each other, but I'm thinking not. Maybe taxi ride is quickest commute.

- This is probably a Q for the newbie section, mate.

- Well, you take a bath for starters...
"Where can we get the cheapest and best massage in bang"
- Well, you started off the on the wrong foot by going to Poseidon (referenced in separate thread).
- 'Best massage' is pretty subjective, not sure you'll get a definitive answer on that.
- You mentioned you weren't a 'beggar' in a separate thread, I'm confused by the sudden concern about pinching rupees...?

Did some research and got a little better read on distance between Colonze 1 & 2. At the bottom of this post, there is a webpage/URL of an MP map, in Japanese. No worries, I can walk you through it a bit.
- Red squares depict MPs
- Green 'H' depict hotels
- BTS station names, self-explanatory
1) Red square at top-right is Colonze 1 (where blue and grey bar intersect)
2) Green 'H' at top, towards the left is Fortune Town Hotel
3) Intersection at Fortune Town is Rama 9 and Asoke
4) Colonze 2 (not shown) is in northerly direction (up)
5) Moving left from Colonze 1 red-square icon, there are 2 red squares close together on a short side street. This is Catherine and LaDefense MPs (Royal Pacific Hotel in between, not shown on this map).
Granted these maps are probably not to scale, I can assure you walking from the Fortune Town Hotel to Colonze 1 is NOT an option. In fact, walking to Catherine or LaDefense is probably not advisable either. I caught a taxi from Westin Grande (next to Asoke Station) and it took 25 mins to get to Catherine MP (factor in some traffic, and driver having to stop to ask directions at the Radisson Hotel on Rama 9).
If you print all these maps, rotate the last one 180 degrees, compare and overlay them all, you can see where Colonze 1 is located on Rama 9, between Pradit Manutham Rd intersection/interchange and the river/stream (blue lines on all maps).
