I'm staying at the Jasmine right now. Saw a sign in the elevator that says Buffet for 200bt. I assume it is the one talked about in this thread. Haven't tried it, my suite has a kitchen and a TGF cooking in it. 5555

RIT, happy to see you fianlly found a good place to stay, after your expeirence with Town Lodge and Swiss Park. Guess TGF needs a place she can realy cook.... you luckly you....!

apollo - the Jasmine is just fine, especially with the TGF cooking. She is a pretty good cook and I eat almost anything, including her Isan food as long as she doesn't "spice it up" too much. In fact, we had about 8 TGs over for a feast - very, very nice.
I like the TL, its just that the TGF doesn't want to walk that far every day. Swiss Park is okay, but for the price you can certainly do better. The location is pretty good, and the TGF likes the buffet. We are staying there in October after we come back from China.
LY - thanks for checking out that buffet. I won't waste the 200bt.
BTW, if you just "have" to have Internet access and are near the Jasmine, there are 2 desktops on the 11th (Lobby) floor available for guests. They are far away from the check in desk and the staff might not notice you. They are password locked, but the password is "fodesk" for both of them. The one desktop on the Ground floor (which might not be as easy to use since it is close to the desk) has a password of "jasminet". YMMV.
