Back to burger business,,,,,
Those Nana burgers are great,, I'm not sure why they're so good and to be honest I do NOT dare to ask.
Mango bar burgers are a solid second in taste, but if one actually looked at ingedients may well be number 1.
By the way,, chips should be served alone with a little salt and pepper but for late night tucker,,with gravey and perhaps some tomato sauce ( Ketchup for yanks).

mango bar, I actually used to like their 99 baht burger for happy hour. 25 cent tequila shots go down fast also.
I really don't like to have heavy customer service, the type that has a drink in your hand asap, overly friendly etc... But I have to say the staff at mango act like they are doing you a favor to order. I went there 3 times in the last week and the English was poor and the attitude was nearly offensive. A big change from last summer there. Burger has been extremly welll done and not as good each day I went. I used to see the owner in their evetry day last year, I think the fact he isn't around has something to do with it. Hope it improves, I like the place

I think they usually stay at their pub "the duke of wellington" on silom (across the road from patpong).

Nana burger closed at least 3 days this week.,....I love the burgers, but only order when mine are only one's on the grill. When they cook a alot at the same time, they always flip the raw burgers and cooked burgers at the same time. I'm not interested in having ecoli in BKK.

Since I stayed at the Landmark, of course I ate at O'Briens. Open 24 hours and you can get some GOOD grill food there.
Even had some help with charging my cell phone after I had not used it in 20 something months, (220 volts) I was ready to buy a new battery but was told to let it charge for 30 minutes, it would not work on plug in and I am very impatient. Works now.
I will say the burger and the breakfast was good, if not great.

had a burger in dubliners on sunday.
huge variety. great patty.
no comparison to o'briens or big mango, but different price class.
but IMHO, it is well worth the difference.
