I agree with MN about Oshi, it sucks. The only reason Thai's like it is because it is a buffet and they pig out. In the Emporium Fuji is right across from Aoi, Fuji always jammed packed.
Sushi usually does not work well in a buffet since it tends to have a shelf life of 2.2 seconds.

Reason fuji, oashi etc. may be favored with TG's & me for that matter is that they offer japanese food with thai flavor, which is great for hardcore thai food lovers who like the occasional japanese influence while not into hardcore authentic japanese fare too much... 
make sense?
Anyways hate when have to que for the f***ing fuji food!

its very good, not that expensive. and at least cause its a small one, run by a japanese man and nothing like these "psuedo japanese buffet places" mentioned before.
its like the little friendly next door restaurant, authentic.
don't be scary of cheap backpackers, they usally don't go there.
two people go away with a bill of around 600 baht - 800 (no drinks) and you are really full.
