Looking for a good places to buy healthy and organic food ands supplements. Anyone know a good place? And how about the quality of veggies in the supermarkets? Are they better than the pesticide and preservative laced veggies in the USA? Thanks for any help.

I don't know about organic food, but GNC (for vitamins and supplements) has quite a few locations in LOS. You can find the locations on the GNC website (I posted them a few years ago). There are probably less preservatives used in Thailand compared to the USA, but generally the pesticide situation is worse in Thailand. Thai produce, shrimp, poultry, etc, has at various times in the past been banned from import into a few other countries. I don’t mean to scare you, and it is possible that the situation has changed, or that you can find organic food without these problems. In terms of high quality of produce, you might try the Emporium grocery store (I believe it is on 5F).

supps I order online. gnc is a ripoff and all they sell is shit. meats I get from local grocery store; sometimes it's rotten when they sell it, so try to inspect it before you buy. veggies I get from street carts and local markets. they probably use pesticides and human feces, but wtf. if you're really concerned, wash them with a capfull of bleach. yummy.
