I am a true Breakfast lover, and I love to try various restaurants for that, provided I have time to go out from my hotel, and secondly, if it is not included in the room rate.
Any additional information would be appreciated.

... raised on a farm in the Deep South in America, breakfast was always the biggest meal of our day... I remain a breakfast fan.
... many variations are available here, but none rise to the calorie and cholesterol dense-packing that was the standard of that time - eggs, grits, smoked ham and slab bacon, buttermilk biscuits, ribbon cane syrup, freshly churned butter and raw milk!
... (dreaming here... a moment... a moment... okay).
... couple of quick choices:j
(1) a super international breakfast buffet with everything is available at most every internationally branded 5-star hotel... I favor the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit;
(2) a more elegant Mediterranean-style brunch is available on weekends after 9.00a at Crepes & Co., located on Sukhumvit Soi 12 about halfway down the soi... few, if any tourists... marvelous garden home... glorious crepes... my favorite breakfast is one of the set menus, featuring selections of hot beverages, fruit juices, egg dishes, breakfast meats, breads, cereals, fruits, and pancakes... about THB 400;
(3) an attempt at the American diner experience is on offer at the V-8 Diner, located on Sukhumvit between Soi 12 and Soi 14... 3-egg omlettes, bacon, toast, pancakes, breakfast potatoes, bottomless cup of coffee... about THB 250-300... great rock from the 50's... furnished in period American paraphenalia... opened by an AUS group, the V-8 Diner is the product of desktop research and is reminescent of the genre, but does not fool Americans over 50; and,
(4) any number of street stalls serving up a piping hot bowl of congee... throw on some garlic, a dash of fish sauce and some chili
and it will stay with you all morning.
... four very different choices.
... and then, there is the English breakfast avaiable at most of the English and Irish pubs... frankly, I don't get baked beans and baked tomatoes for breakfast... how's a person to maintain a manly near death cholesterol level with crap as that?... maybe one of our Brit/Irish cousins can explain it... best I can explain is that they are some sort of weird garnishes not really intended to be eaten, like tufts of parsley.

Although, I am from the "Big City" in the deep south I know what you mean and will get you that pancake mix from Mary Mac's next trip 
Also, I don't get the baked beans on the "English" breakfast either....those go with hot dogs or bbq and cole slaw, don't they

BTW,
I am not really a breakfast guy at all, but stay at Citadines 23 every trip and have enjoyed the breakfast buffet at Taipan Hotel (practically adjacent) on many o' mornings....you know those ones when you need a bloody mary or two

You can't have a Breakfest with out the baked beans, I love a good fry up but when i'm in Thailand I never get up early enough. I suppose I get a choice of staying out late partying or get up early for breakfest. Drinking beer always win with me.

It happens most of the time that I eat very less at night,due to party etc. rather having an early dinner and then go for drinks. So, in the morning, when I take shower, I am hungry again. Most of the time, I have seen once a have good breakfast, perhaps I can skip lunch factor or can survive with very little lunch. Yes, like many others, Breakfast and the dinner are the two main meal for me as well.
