Can someone get a price for me as to what a full slab of Original Baby Back Ribs cost in Bangkok ? In Wisconsin , its $17 (US) a slab. Thanks to whomever gets me the info !

I ate at the Tony Roma's once. I don't recall it being much differently priced than what it would have cost in the USA. Could be very slightly higher.

Don't remember the price of ribs. Ate there twice, seemed expensive and the chicken was lousy both times. Wouldn't recommend it.

I actually pulled up Tony Roma's website , got the direct phone number and called direct ( $1.10 for the call ). It's 495 baht ($11.75) for a full slab of ribs. Thanks to everyone including myself.

what sort of other problems do you guys have? come on this city is full of excellent restaurants with nice locations. the least thing i want to do here in bangkok is ending up at an overpriced restaurant with a standardised layout. come give me a break please! this city is a gourmets heaven for nearly every earthly food. so why hanging around venues like tony roma or hard rock cafe or planet hollywood and all the other misbreds!
it seems to me that these places do only exist in bangkok because there is a certain bunch of people who are just to scared to try something else or new. seems to me like the same bunch of people who keep hotel bars are venues like spasso in grand hyatt or rivas in sheraton with there inflated prices alive.

Well excuuuuuuuse me.
My wife is a GREAT Thai cook. We serve Thai food to all our guests.
However I haven't had any good barbecued ribs for a long time (since losing touch with Hap Pierce, who serves great ones at his birthday parties.)
So, if I want to go to Tony Roma's for some ribs, and overlook the fact that it's a chain, or go to the New Cowboy for a chicken fried steak, who's going to crucify me for it? Damn! Next you're gonna tell me I can't go to Derby King for one of Big Bill's burgers.
However, I don't go to Starbuck's for overpriced coffee, I don't go to Planet Hollywood or Hard Rock, and I leave Spasso to the wife, who likes to go there and get hit on by Ay-rabs (but never goes out with them.)

don't worry i also need my occasional treat for my local food here in bangkok. it is just so odd having somebody calling from the us how much ribs at tony roma's are in bangkok. seems like as such as there isn't any other thing in this city than the price of ribs at tony roma's!
