that is the only one I ever eat in bkk, but only after 10 singhas...
thai food is just too good. try "larb kai", "nam tok nuea", "yam wun sen" for example. spicy and delicious. takes your appetite of hamburgers quickly...

Tried the Hard Rock Cafe's last week, always been good and did not dissapoint. Also have had good ones in the Londener in Soi 33!

I was in Pattaya in February and I tried the burger at the Hard Rock Hotel. It was not as good as I remembered. Couple of days later I went back and tried it again. Still disappointed.

Big guy, I'm suprised at you. Paying US prices in LOS? I also went to Hard Rock in February, and was mildly disappointed with the cheeseburger, the band, and the 800 baht hurricane (well, at least I got to keep the glass). And my girl only ate thai, but they really don't serve any. Just a tourist trap that is best avoided.

Thaiaficionado is so right about Hard rock cafe. I went there just last week and the prices there are so high. Not good paying US dollar in BKK. The food is O.k, and certainly not great. There are many places in Bangkok that serve better food.
This is one true place in Thailand that is over rated!!
