Ever notice how Americans rarely complain about Brits, even though Brits seem to contantly harp on Americans for all kinds of stuff? Enough already, huh?
I've got good friends who are brits, americans, and god knows how many other nationalities. I really would like to see an end to the nationalistic name calling/stereotyping that seems to be so common.
How a hamburger can cause so much controversy I'll never truely understand.
How about some more useful information like WHERE TO GET A GOOD HAMBURGER?

Thanks for the tip about the NEP guy. I'll start at the Nana Hotel coffee shop (my buddy'll be staying there) and eat my way out from there. Pleasantly surprised they may have a good burger: don't like their dinner menu (nor does my TGF) but I do like their breakfast spread.

The correct term for what you are describing is called taking the piss.
Some Americans dont get it(probably the ones without passports)and get uptight-re BigDs post.
Oldhands post was definatly a 'piss take'.
You should listen to Aussies and Brits exchanging pleasantries,now that is fun.

Surely the point is that we should allow others to have different opinions, regardless of their orrigins.
Not all people from any nation are the same. so to refer everyone from xxxxxx as a type is simply stupid.

Jimmy, I"m perfectly aware of "taking the piss" -- I lived and worked amongst Brits for 7 years in Hong Kong and have been to England 20 times. Ý That would be the correct term if I were a Brit, which I'm not. Ý Anyway, when I do "take the piss" it is rarely in a nationalistic or ethnic way. that's all.
Anyway, I really don't harbour any ill-feelings towards the brits or anybody else. ÝAs I said in my post, I have many friends from literally all over the place. ÝThe only thing I cannot stand is ignorance Ý(not flaming you for that either).

While in LOS I usually eat Thai food. On my last trip which was almost four weeks, I have only eaten a hamburger once. This was in the court of NEP at the grill just outside Voodoo. I found their hamburgers very delicious.
