The burger in front of Nana Plaza was supposed to be 'the BEST' in Thailand.
I was at this stall twice last week and noticed that the 'rugged' man who used to make the burgers is no longer there - his place was taken over by 2 women.
Anybody knows what happebed to the 'rugged' man ?

Well I use to think Big Mango had the best, but something happened (I think the chef either quit or was fired), and for about a week after that the burgers we extremely salty, and every burger I have had since the salty spell have been pretty dry.
Also had a crap burger from The Londoner the other day – they get a double thumbs down one for the burger and one for the inflated prices.
Right now looks like Nana ranks tops for me. As for the “rugged man” I think business has improved enough for him that he and his little lassy have moved strictly into management and have a couple of worker bees tending the hive.

Are you very sure ? I don't see the 'rugged' man around anymore - because of that I didn't order any burger from that stall. I also notice that business is very bad for that stall now - at times and for quite a long time there isn't a single customer, compared to the times when the 'rugged' man was making the burgers

Not 100% - I saw him helping to set the cart up a few times after he quite working the cart, and then turning it over to the ladies. But it has been awhile since I have been around when they are setting up. Not sure if he sold the cart, got canned from working the cart, or like I indicated earlier maybe moved upon the chain of command.

The fat guy with the pony tail still owns the cart, he pops around now and again.
Most of their business is around kicking out time. If you are around then they are usually queuing up.

With Big Mango down the tubes I again propose O'Brians as the best burger. As the old Wendy's saying goes "Hot and Juicy".
