Never been to Patong so only know what I've learned
from this site and it's been a great source.
Having a bit of trouble trying to pick a hotel because
I don't know the areas.
Don't want to get stuck somewhere too far from
everything. Will be with a farang gf (I know..Iknow..
damn it!) and don't want to offend the sweet thing by
staying too too close to the dens of sin.
Actually she's pretty cool,I'm just being a wise ass.
Budget says we need to find a nice place under 2K Bt.
What do you think of places like Patong Villa or
Bayshore Resort any suggestions (besides loose the gf...hey she's kicking in like a real sport)?

Hell,I'm still making the payments on the first one!
Lady I've known for years...we're going to hook up in BK
and go off to Phuket for a few days while the rest of her
chums head up to CM. So she's not a stuck up prudish shit.
Anyway....by PS Hills I'm quessing that that means
Patong South Hills. It seems quite a distance from everything. Maybe I'm wrong, don't know.
Any info on a nice affordable place in town?
Will be there Nov.20 for only 4 days.
I know I'm working you, but getting info has been tough.

I spent 6 days at Burasari in September. Wonderful staff and beautiful rooms as it was new. Great Pool....I had a lower floor Jr. Suite and could step from my room almost right in the pool. I think a standard room would be about 2k. Within a few minutes walk there were 4 different bands playing in street side restaurants. Also just a short walk to the beach.
I highly recommend this Hotel if it fits your budget.

Not sure if this is what you're after but it's a good little hotel within your price range and only a minute from Bangla(restaurants shops etc) and a short stroll to the beach.
It's in San Sabai, nice and quiet , good staff etc
