Wild and crazy yes.
That's the point. Thais are extremely calm compared to NFL fans.
I am just talking about the level of excitement that's generated at an NFL game, being typical of Americans, whereas military forces are wearing a uniform that they have some responsibility to.
Billiards fans, sure, but for my money, it's the people who watch chess tournaments.

I think you'd find more problems with a British "football" fan, or any Rugby fan than you would an NFL fan. I've never seen a fight break out in the RCA Dome, or the Super Dome, or any other NFL stadium. I HAVE seen a few riots from the English League however! Damn soccer holigans!!!
Soccer fans yes Rugby no ! They are totally different. Even the French ! Rugby is a totally different culture to Soccer. Well behaved even though they will drink the bars dry. There is no Combat 18 like groups in Rugby. It is generally the domain of the middle classes. Barbour jackets and talking about little wifey Pru back in Ascot. Although you will see quite a few women at Rugby since it is safe from violence. Give me a Rugby bunch of boys instead of the US Navy any day ! I was in Phuket five years ago and well I wish the US Navy just weren't there.
