I apologize for the length of the FR. If I broke it up it wouldnt have been any shorter just in more pieces right!! Gotta cover the high points.
I am still trying to wipe the stupid grin off my face.!!! Just got back from showing my friends in US the pics and yelling at them for calling the BG whores...... They are not that at all. We all know that.... They are the most wonderful people I have ever met in my entire life. Fortunately for me, I have MGF (Mongolian Girlfriend) back in states that I have now realized is the one for me. This will not keep me from LOS in the future. In fact, I need to burn 3 weeks of sabbatical before May.... Need to start planning now.
Here how the mental plan is stacking up just now.
maybe a ccouple of days in Vietnam (Saigon? ) I love Pho.!!! in US
definitely going to hit Chaing Mai and Chaing Rai... anyone been?/? I want to hear what is good and where to stay guys!!
Then maybe spend some time in Pattaya then finsih the trip in Patong AGAIN....
My life has been changed.... no pining after TGF or white women in states but I have a different perspective on life now and it is great. My MGF wants me to go to Mongolia but I figure I can put her off for a year or so but that really would be an adventure now wouldnt it!!!
Unfortunately, my stamina at typing exceeds my hit/miss performance in Patong. I am a computer guy by trade and am good at writing documentation about anything. Weird as it seems... I think I left my libido in the hotel room.... I am happier than I have been in my entire life. Gonna go see the doc and get some V covered under insurance... Way to go Slick!!
A small part of me wants to invest in something in LOS so that I can write the next trips off on my taxes. Gotta go inspect my investment dont ya know.
Seriously though. I really need info on other parts of Thailand for my next trip... This is a great country the size of Texas and I want to see more. Phuket is a mere dot on the map of LOS.
Thanks guys... you have been great. Maybe, I will meet some of you on my next trip.

As others here say, DO NOT sell BKK short! It has everything that the others have, except beaches and mountains, and has it in multiples.

And I agree with you that “whore” is completely inappropriate at least for the majority of BG. But don’t try to explain that to people who haven’t been there…
The BGs really don’t see themselves as whores and the fact that the sex business takes place in certain ghettos takes away all the social stigma inside these communities and the nasty BGs doin sex business turn out to be what they really are: happy and gentle people. The poor individuals we sometimes find amongst them would possibly be poor in any other environment too. Nevertheless we should pay some respect to the whole picture and be aware that there is another Thailand in which the sex business has this stigma still. Bad mistake to mix up GTG (good thai girl) with BG and try to BF her…
And as said – Lokna, don’t write Bangkok off, it is another outstanding experience worth going, just different from Phuket. Read my bottom line:
