Sorry if I sound a bit thick.
Been a few years since I've been to Phuket but will be there early next year. Don't remember the Tiger Complex (then again I'm getting old and my memory is probably going).
I'm just trying to remember Bangla Rd from looking up from the beach end of the Rd. I remember a bookshop on my right hand side about 2 shops up from the corner.
Where would the cocktail and dreams be from there?

November 1998 was the first time I went to Phuket.
My friend and I are both non-smokers. We used to buy Marlboro cigarettes on the street and dish them out to the girls as a good-will gesture.
The road that Rock Hard is on (the corner) goes at a right angle up to the beach road. Just before the beach road was an area of bars. One area was very Katoey.
We still dished out the ciggies (drunk and merry) but I remember being shocked by the ladyboys (many) -
Never seen them before apart from Ibiza and then that was just the one. Friendly & funny but my mate and I did a runner........Wholy sheeeeeeeeeeeeet !
We looked like the 'Delta' House from 'National Lampoon's Animal House !
