During the Sars scare it was empty but cheap (Hotels, Food etc.) But it has picked up and on my last visit 3 long weeks ago was getting back to normal. its low season now so things such as Hotels are reasonable. I just spent a week in Pattaya although I have been there before for short 1 day visits for work i have never spent so long there. One of my partners in crime tells me that there is 2400 "registered" Beer Bars there, in Phuket you would be lucky to get 3 figures. Phuket is more laided back, slightly more expensive but more holiday like. you take your pick and take your chance!!

Just did a week in Phuket, have not been since just before SARS announced, early March I think.
Well this trip I found plenty of good-looking girls. Usually in the summer there is not that many, maybe I have to cruise around for a couple of hours to really find a hottie, but this time shit they were everywhere. It was hard to choose on several nights. I even bar fined girls and never came back because I found a hotter one!! Bad habit I have of bar fining a girl and telling her wait for me I will be back. Small price to pay to make sure I am banging the hottest girl I can find that night! It was the best visit in the past few years. I am in Phuket 5 or 6 times a year. The chicks were everywhere this time!!! I will be back in August and am counting the days.

Shark club is ok many fl but i prefer tai-pan very godd also with manny fl, but i think the hottest fl is in tai-pan.

If all GG bars in Patong is like I've seen its a no-no for me.
Never took me more than five minutes to find a really young and sexy BG in Soi Eric.
The only downside about Eric is the hard to pass thru entrance..
So... the GGBars anyone -am I wrong cuz I'm not that experienced about it and the prices for BF+LT? I've heard like 500+2500 !!
Compare that to 2-300+1000 top at the BeerBars..
Cant get hold on myself to hit the nighscene again, stuck to FR meanwhile...

My "limited" experiance in Soi Bangala indicates that LT is about 1500 negotiable (never taken a ST, if so inclined go to the C MP), Bar Fines vary from a low of about 300 in the BB, to 500 in the Go Go's (Rock Hard & Flash). Pretty reasonable and very laid back!

The Shark, now called Star Wars is ok. Sometimes good fishing and sometimes not! Thai-Pan is always good, I noticed at Thai Pan you just need to get out on the dance floor, and I am no John Travolta but on this last trip I walked around the bar two or three times and wondered where the girls were.. Then looked a little closer at the crowd dancing and realized it was a whole lotta Thai chicks!! I just grooved out to the middle and started smiling and shaking my ass, I know this is a bad visual but I got lots of cute smiles back and just picked the cutest one.
As for the Soi's I used to hang out of Soi Easy, but now Soi Sea Dragon has my attention. Young and cute girls everywhere.
The prices are very reasonable these days due to the lack of business. The girls are very happy to be making some money. And at the end of the day does it really matter whether it is 1,000 or 1,500, or even 2,000. Cheap cheap cheap for the great experiences. There is just NO substitute for Thai girls!!

i found the Go-Go's more relaxed then the Bar Beers.
less of the hassle from the girls i find and easier to sit and relax and chat.
but then again i have my habits.
in my main Go-Go,i had my #1 girl and all the others knew not to bother me.
yes they would come over and talk,but no hassle for LD's or BF's.
in the others,they knew i was a butterfly and left me alone until i would ask them over for a drink and chat.
i find the Bar Beer girls are much more aggressive.
only once has a Go-Go girl asked for over 2000 for L/T and i laughed and waved the girl away.
remember you are the one in charge of hiring a friend for the night.

my friend owns a bar at the very end and i have to walk the entire length of the Soi to see him.

only been in Tai-Pan twice and both after hours before the 'crackdown' and it was open until 06:00.
many of the girls who did'nt have a fella for the night would go for a drink,dance and look for a partner for the night.
but since the new closing time rules,it is still a good place to visit.
i used to get a beer from the 7-11 and sit outside TP on the little wall and just wait for the approaches of the girls.
a lone Falang with a beer in his hand is a magnet to the girls.
i have taken a few girls home from here late on.
latest i took one home was just as the sun was rising,she was 42 and a tiger in bed.
what a session.
and like you,i think Seadragon is the best Soi.
girls available from late morning until closing time and many cuties.
very easy to arrive there at 10am and not leave until 02am and have as many S/T's as you want and never having to walk more than 30 yards.

Hey Nok, Yes you are right about both subjects. Soi Sea Dragon is just full of girls, small girls, big girls, brown girls, white girls, etc etc. Late night at the 7-11 is still the best trolling spot. All you have to do is get a seat at that restaurant at wait till you see one you like. There are a lot of ladyboys crowding up the place though and this is a bummer because they just are so aggressive.
All in all, Phuket is just a great place to go hang out, laid back, hot friendly girls everywhere, kind of place!
