I would be staying in Gracerland Phuket for couple of days in October.
Wanted to know what could be the best place to pick up a TG and carry to Phi Phi the next day.
Willing to pay 3000 per day. Is that adequate?

3000 is more than enough especially at this time of year in Phuket..They are going to have a nice holiday with you paying all the extras for a few days...

Surely you wouldn't have to pay more than 1000 a day, for that sort of longish term thing? Plus bar fine, if she works in a bar, but again, long term bar fine is often not just number of days times daily rate (ie, you get a discount).
How long will you be with her for?
By the way, Phi Phi is not hugely monger friendly. Hardly any prostitutes there, the odd ladyboy. Very beautiful place, but if you think you might feel uncomfortable being the only monger-with-girl on an island (well, more or less) then you may wish to consider taking her somewhere where you'll not stand out for so doing. On the other hand, it might give you a kick! Up to you, as the thai girls say!

Thanks for your reply. As a matter of fact, I will be with another family who are travelling with me. As all the four of us would be moving together could cut down the effect of me standing out as a sore thumb. Will be putting up in Holiday Inn, Phi Phi
I would like to have the TG for 3 nights. At times now I am thinking of taking the TG from Bkk.
What do you think?

... this informative string is about 1-1/2 years out of date now... any of you recent Phuket visitors have fresh input reflecting the high season and current pricing on bar fines, ST, LT at beer bars, massage parlors, gogo bars, escort, free-lancers, etc.?
... and for you frequent visitors... I've heard that the "high season" is not really so very "high"... is that apparent in the current supply-demand pricing?

Was in Phuket 2 weeks before Christmas, was busy but not like it normally is this time of year. Barfines in the Beer Bars are 300-400 as they have been for a while.
The Go Go's are now Bangkok Prices (600-700), LT & ST vary greatly, more than before, many happy still with 2K LT but most want 2.5/3K LT. I don't do ST so NFI!
More FL's hanging around Bangla Soi than I have ever seen before, so lots of options!

OZ, what was the attitude of the girls, as far as you could tell?
My sense a few years ago was the the Patong girls were all corrupted by the excessive tourism and gawking and were only looking to score a quick ST or whatever and could care less if they provided quality service or not, as the next tourist bumpkin was just around the next tour bus. I bought one girl a LD only to have her ignore me and talk to her friends. I took another girl LT only to have do a runner on me after complaining that she was jep jep after ten minutes of f***ing her.
More FLs does sound interesting, I don't recall there being many. I did find a few girls with decent attitudes who gave me a good ride, but I had to really work the shoals to find them.

I thought it has improved & remember the negative vibes there a couple of years back when things where booming & the Tsunami only a memory. I think the lack of Tourist during High Season has bought reality back!
Also being a regular in Phuket I get treated better in the places I am known, any regular does. Still enjoy the laid back attitude but the quality & quantities do vary widely!
