Good for you Loco, haven't seen those prices in Phuket for a long time myself. I assume these were not Bars in Soi Bangla? If not, which Beach Town were they at?

All in Patong. One gal was at a Tiger beer bar..one up the road from Bangla in a beer bar on a small soi near some Irish bar and another(the keeper) at the beer bars behind the shops sort of across from Christain massage..the week I was there was a slow one for the women and I must have hit it just right as I was always cheerfully nodded when I threw out 1000 LT. I drank two beers in eacxh bar and made the deal. Paid the bar fine and took them to dinner. Went back to room early and enjoyed the evening into the wee hours...turned all three on to Miles Davis 'Kind of Blue"..told them their King loved jazz..now they do too!

Friends, planning for a trip to Phuket. Can you all suggest some nice discos (like spasso, Hyatt bangkok, etc) in Phuket for high end FL's? Any other joints to check out for.
Any place for Aussie or Japanese girls.

Short answer is No, not really. The Beach Bars at Surin is your best bet, they are pretty cool but a little pricey. Yes high end Girls there.
Russian Girls now in Bangla but I wouldn't bother.

I was in Phuket in Nov/Dec time frame and had an awesome time. I was there in April and except for one afternoon, it was pretty lousy. All a matter of having the right look of girls around - sometimes good sometimes not.
I'm considering a return to Phuket, or maybe Samui, or a first time to Pattaya. Hmmmm

Samui - try Lami beach it's better than other parts of the island.
I stopped there for a few weeks and enjoyed the bars and beach.
Hotels right on the beach at reasonable prices under 1700 baht.
Bars the girls were 1000 ( maybe double that now)
But cheaper than other places by the sea.
Some PI bands that rip.
Lady kick boxing on Saturday beer bar complex.
Little sail boats to hire ( as in three person Catts) for a couple of thousand.
It's not too bad.
Watch roads they are dreadful pot holes ( lots of accidents)
I think it's a better place than Phuket

Yes Paradise still going to Thailand, mainly Phuket. April usually poor choice ( I go for Bike week) for Bars as many Girls go home for Songkhram often for 2 weeks.
Low season now but lots of choices & prices more realistic.

Gee its changing & not for the better, still lots of cuties but many will only do ST now & the old laid back Beer Bars are fast dying out of Patong with another favourite Soi gone.
