I called into one of Bangkok's largest GoGo bars last night and was surprised to see their most popular dancer wearing plain clothes and selling drinks. No number on her or anything.
We sat and chatted.
Apparently she's taking a month off as she is "sick"
No names, in accordance with the rules here, but if your favourite ladyfriend isn't wearing a bikini tonight, you now know why.
Thankfully she isn't my type anyway.

Presumably you don't mean sick of dancing. Nor sick with flu or fever, obviously. Popularity sickness then. Been with rather too many guys, one of whom passed on this "sickness" to her and she has probably passed it on herself in turn. So more like a period of quarantine really.
Luckily, I never saw her when she wasn't wearing her bikini either.

BK I thought the same as you initially, but she told me quite bluntly that she is sick, and cannot dance for a month.
Far be it from me to suggest what the nature of the illness may be but she looked to be in perfect health to me.

This is an illness with a very specific timing. The young lady will be unable to work for a month, during which time she is not drinking alcohol. Then it's business as usual.
Not sure what her Thai boyfriend makes of it all.
