Very simple, she is too lazy. She has money in her pockets, no drive or motivation. She can't even bring herself to leave the apartment to do ANYTHING.
Basic needs are met, nothing more needed......
She is too lazy to go to the store at the first floor of the apartment to buy water, she would rather go thirsty.......
She is too lazy to wash clothes down the soi. Even when she does, she pays the lady that runs the place to do it for her, including folding.
She bought an excerise bike for the apartment. First day it turned into a clothes drying rack......
She is so lazy she can't even come to grips that she needs to charge her phone.... it just sits there with a dead battery....... Then she gets mad because it went dead but doesn't admit all she had to do was plug it in......
After 2 days of laying in bed she decides she will go down stairs to the beauty salon and get her hair done and proceeds to tell me how tired she is and how much work it is to take the elevator down to the beauty shop (after sitting in the apartment for 2 days straight)
But she is still my little monkey.......

Typical Isan girl do rice once a year then sit looking on it to grow and harvest it and then wait to next time to do it. Besides that drink wiskey and eat spice food and loads of sleep. Thai way of life. I have a house in Uthai Thani the sun state. I never met a Bar Girl from there. They are so lazy there I am sure they do not have even power to take the buss to Bangkok.

Never ever buy them a TV. If you do buy one, get one without a remote. They eventually have to move off the bed to the TV... Nah they will just get a length of bamboo pole to switch stations from their bed.

I'd agree with CG - change girlfriend. If all you do is ridicule her for her behavioral lazyness, then there's not much of a relationship there to start with.

Cool post! Cool style ! Would seem obvious that the attractive side of thai girls is not their performance out of the room... no surprise they get so limited options, especially when moving overseas...

Actually, the "mountain" Soi33CanDo climbed was on Koh Larn. Come to think of it, maybe it wasn't a mountain.

My Isarn gf (now wife as of Feb 10) is not lazy at all. She cleans the house, cooks the food, does the laundry and works in the flower beds and garden all day. She is very happy and so am I. So, they are not ALL lazy.
