Some years ago I traveled to Asia. As a younger man I had no reservations about having fun. •Now that I am older I still have that urge and ability, but have been hesitant to book my trip to BK because of my age and that I have developed a paunch. •I am six foot six and carry my extra weight well but would like to know if any one else in their twilight years has hit the BK bar or disco scene. •How do the girls react to a larger than average stomach and grey hair. •I am pushing 62 but still get it up and have the urge. Besides there's still Viagra as a back-up if I need it. Any experiences to share?

Just go for it. Do not hesitate when you enter a bar at NEP, Patpong or Cowboy. Just be yourself and behave well, make a visual contact with the one you like and take it easy. You will be encourage looking how many other fellows, younger than you, are being rejected as this issue happens many times coz of naughty behavior. Remember also that at some bars girls sometimes are the ones who decide to go or not to go with the customer. If you want to go for a 100% chance of f_cking without any word in between, head to an MP and choose your number. Enjoy man.

I am pushing 63 and I have been to Bangkok four times in the past twelve months (no, not on work but purely holiday with only one thing on my mind  .) I have not encountered any problem on account of my age. Just dress neatly and behave well and you should be allright.

Well here's my comment.
I'm not quite so mature as happyface, but compared to the girls I must be an old man.
So I follow my rules as suggested in another thread. I never rush to take a girl that I like the look of. I wait until a girl shows enough interest in me and a chat confirms that we should get along OK. I follow this rule, particularly 'cos of my age. Maybe I don't need to as Thai people are generally more respectful of age than farang folks, but it works for me.

I agree with everything that has been posted so far. But here's just another data point to think about.
I am older, but look like I am in my low 20's. This can causes issues because it take the ladies a little time to warm up to the fact that I am not an immature, sex crazed, kid taking a break from college. Because of my young looks, as well the fact that I work out, I am always braned a "butterfly" as well. They figure that a young guy who's physically fit must be a "player". Now, we won't go into the "butterfly" issues in this forum because it has been discussed in other ones, but we all know that that is not a positive thing to be known as.
So, don't hesitate at all because of the age or looks thing. Go for broke and treat them the females with respect and you will be rewarded. I think because of the perception that older is more mature and worldly may put you ahead of the game compared to us younger looking ones. Since it has been established that many quality females are not just looking for sex, but for more from a man. I don't think that they think they can get that from a younger looking one.
And mature and worldly is meant in a very positive manner.
Never old, just young at heart.

Yeh you just reminded me about something when I was in BKK with my friend ( he is also my bank manager) back in January. Friend is 42 years old, me older.
We went in a Patpong bar, mid afternoon. We were the only guys in there. My friend often teases me by referring to me as grandfather, 'cos I am.
I caught the eye of one of the girls. None of them were pushing at us.
We chatted to her for a little while but as it came time to leave she asked to come along. I suggested she should go with my "younger" friend but she refused him, saying that she preferred older men. I have lost my grandfather title now.
I have seen her on my last two trips to BKK. She's 25 years old and good fun.
So I wholey agree with your comments. Age can be a benefit, not a reason not to go to LOS.

These ladies like men of all shapes, sizes, age, and nationality. BUT, one common trait we all share is that we treat the ladies with respect and as a "lady". This will help win the ladies over more then anything else. Okay. Maybe not money is some instances!!

I haven't yet met the guy who can beat this age thing so I've gotta make the best use of it.
I find it facinating to observe the different ways people react to me, purely depandant upon my manner and dress.
Sometimes business takes me to London and I have to dress to be correct with the "city folks" that I am meeting... dark suit etc. If I stop to shop, eat etc. the service is so often different to that offered if I am in my home clothes of scruffy Levi's ( BKK copies) and Tee shirt.
In BKK particularly, it seems easier to pull the girl of my choice if I dress a little smarter. Don't know why... perhaps it just further separates me from the obvious holiday butterflies ???
