Brothers,
I have performed a search to the best of my ability and could not find a pre-existing thread on this topic. Also I know it probably belongs in the "Girls" section but due to my newbie status (when does that expire, by the way?) I can only start posts here and in FR section.
Many brothers have adopted the healthy attitude of Find 'em, F_ck 'em, Forget 'em but unfortunately I am not built that way. When I hook up with someone that clicks for me I tend to get attached, although very few ladies actually click for me in that way. This is compounded by the fact that I am single, never married, and getting to the point that if I will ever have kids it had better be pretty soon. To sum it up I am seriously considering hooking up with a TG and starting a family.
I am chatting a bit in the thai rooms on yahoo with some TGs also, of the non-bar girl variety, just to keep all options open.
My question is (and I know it's probably a stoopid one), has anyone here had any luck in meeting and dating a Thai BG, extricating her from the business, then marrying her and living happily ever after, or is this simply a pipe dream that I should put out of my mind forever?

Just be very, very, very carefull thats all I can say, I know people that have meet a BG one night and have lived with them for ever, but thats well a minority so just be carefull thats all......................

hi harry,
i've married a tbg for 2 years and still going strong ( ops should not speak to soon ).
she was very new to the bar so didn't get rough around the edges, she has adopted to life in england very good and now she working, I guess it was a very lucky pick.
somedays it is very hard as she has the thai way and I have the right way, yes you can have a great married life with a thia bg but be very careful and about 95% of them will take you for a ride.

Why do you travel half way around the world and want to marry a whore? Why not marry a whore in your own country? You speak the same language, similar culture, etc.
The vast majority of the whores here in Thailand are semi literate with a 3rd to 6th grade education and barely understand English beyond "hansum man, sexy man" "loove you long time".
To all the sensitive guys who don't like calling a spade a spade. I'm using the word whore because he wants to marry one.
Just curious, how many guys when they bring their whore back to their home country introduce her to Mom and Dad, friends co workers etc. Are they honest and tell them what line of work she was in? We all know the answer to that one.

Who cares what someone's wife or girlfriend's does or did for a living? As if the person who asks cares. It's a "what's the weather" question when you can't remember the answer five minutes later anyway. To take the opposite answer, if the guy went into detail about his girlfriend's glittering career progression, do you think they'd be impressed to the extent that they'd remember it five minutes later? It's just a "how are you" type question. You don't always tell the truth there and who cares?
As long as the guy's happy, why should anyone care?

Well the woman (whore) I like right now speaks pretty good english and doesn't at all fit the stereotype you have so kindly shared with us. Yes she is a whore, but apparently some of us can find a place in our hearts for such a girl.
The prostitutes here in the USA are not of interest to me, since I have a preference for asian women and there are very few asian prostitutes here.
BigD, it's not that I am aspiring to marry a prostitute. It's just that as a farang in LOS they are the most easily accessible pool of women to choose from. I don't necessarily plan to go down this road, but am curious to know what the experience of other brothers has been.
It is possible that there are plenty of whores, as you choose to call them, who would end up making better companions, wives, and/or mothers than some of the so-called "good girls" that you would be proud to bring home to your mum.
