Friend of mine's a single mother due to a true piece of trash guy that bailed the moment it was too late for her - yet still stalks and harasses her wanting to see the kid, yet won't pay a dime of child support.
He's not a US citizen, so I suggested she tell the district attorney to pass the information on to immigration, to prevent him from leaving the country, as he's a flight risk.
Nope, nothing was done - he keeps going back and forth from the US to Chile, as he pleases, claiming he has no money and is unemployed (his travel agency is now' owned' by his parents). It's lovely how no one here actually cares about doing their job.
Lastly, I'm with everyone here suggesting you make damn sure the child is indeed yours - have you ever had a DNA test done to confirm it? If there's any chance she's not your blood, run with it - her entire case will fall apart, particularly if it isn't the 'husbands' either, then she'll really be done...

Just got a friend of mines from Italy in the same mess....lady did the little trick and now she's pregnant and asking for cash, lots of it.
My friend was just coming out from a long divorce, got finally his passport again a couple of months ago and when he was ready to buy the ticket for a relaxing trip to LOS, he got stuck again with this story....
Now running the DNA test and if he's the father, then he will be screwed for good for other 18 years....the poor bastard....

use your own condoms in future
always keep one somewhere in your wallet its not like theyre bulky
and obviously if she is making things "official" then get a dna test for the kid to see if its yours
and get HER / her lawyer to put everything in writing "her proposal" and then you have evidence for future
but make sure its your kid first, quite obviusly, I mean who knows how many guys shes f***ing, oh sorry youre the only one right, cos she loves you but not her husband
and in future use your own condoms

I'm sure you meant *VASECTOMY*, since the only one having a hysterectomy (you spelled it right), is the chick.
By the way - good suggestion, get a vasectomy - then you can blow a load in the chick, while she thinks she's got you - and when she tries to pull the fast one on you, wait for her lawyer to take you to court, then have her lawyer calmly pull out the medical certificates. The case should be closed within another 5 minutes after that, to her devastation.
That's the kind of scenario that makes me seriously consider the procedure.
