I tend to react and behave in the same way as the humble gorilla above.
But I think we are talkin about four different situations of pussy here and I think it is important to distinguish the difference.

However, rather than endanger ourselves with the accusation that there is something fishy in the state of arousal, would you be willing to allow the 4th pillar to sub-divide into twain labia, if you will: one, being the seedy (or seeded) unwashed longtime lip of morning enjuiced yet still horny from the night before; and two, being the yeasty or otherwise infected and undesirable category?

While I acknowledge I am entertained and also educated by all the above posts, I am still wondering how it is only the women who detect the Smell Of Pussy through all the acrid smoke and drink in the air, not to speak of their own heavy perfume too. If they could detect it so should at least some of the men skilled in the senses ? That's one question, how many bros have really been aware of the SOP in a go-go.
Taking JW's categorisation as an industry standard, and looking at the kind of girls in that bar -- a favourite in terms of quality of girls -- it would seem unlikely that any of them fell under Joe Wood's fourth classification. Even the third category could be eliminated. I wonder if any bar would risk a menstruating girl dancing on stage and having blood on the dance floor. I would also discount the possibility of the samples being distorted by any asparagus urine factor, or similar : the behaviour I witnessed seemed more like a biological reaction rather than any abhorrence springing from hygiene considerations. If it was foul smell we should all have got it.
So that leaves us with just JW's first two categories neither of which fall under the unpleasant smell category - therefore not reason for the mamasan to fan her nostrils with a grimace or for a lady to go out for fresh air, unless the lady was being just plain jealous and the mamasan just funny.
So are women sensitive to the SOP in a way different from a man's sensitivity ? Much like your pet dog can detect if your friend owns a dog from the smell on your friend -- which you can't.
