I think this topic has become a very interesting one! It was nice to hear that most of us who have posted so far made the same experience about the poor eyesight of the TGs. Through my years in SEA, I got stolen my glasses twice, once in LOS and once in the Phils. As said they have a minor correction and can be used by almost everyone. I imagine that I made two people happy or even a whole family in the province who are exchanging the glasses in between them...

On contrary... it's statistically proofen that most people from Asia (not only TH) have a worse eyesight than white people... some genetic difference. That's why we are very happy about our future business in China...  over 3/4 of Asian people need a correction of their eyesight.
Why they actually don't wear glasses depends on their vanity, their lack of knowledge about this and the poor quality of the local products. And currently most of them can not afford the higher quality. But in the past we have seen a big increase of sales in Asia, seems that the upper class is already adjusting to it... only a matter of time when you will find more girls at Nana with glasses. 
I brought my exTGF some glasses when she made a course in school because she had so bad eyesight she got headache every day... afterwards she was quite happy about her sight and the headache vanished.
Could be a warning to all guys out there sending their TGF to school - before you spend any Baht on the school make sure your TGF is able to see what's going on in front of her! No joke... that's a serious issue.

Funny... just when I turned around a minute ago I noticed that my TG I'm staying with on the weekend is wearing glasses to read a journal! Never seen here with before. Her head was hidden behind the paper but when I looked over the border of the journal I was able to see the glasses... but she wasn't happy about this. "Make me look old".

....quite interesting stuff cos my Thai ex gf (non-bar TG) is very happy wearing glasses cos she said look smarter....she use to invest silly amounts of money in new brand frames a couple of times per year. Same thing for her friends and a similar behavior with few of MY colleagues....
....but every single time I've crossed paths with a bar girl, and after playing with my glasses on them the answer was
" ....I look no good, too old...."
" ....me no like"
etc....AMAZING!!

Indeed, I had the same thing from an ex GF - she refused to wear glasses because they made her look old. She had major problems with her eyes primarily from riding fast motorcycles when she was younger and getting things in her eyes. I am certain this is a more common problem than we know.
Currently the sexiest lady I keep as a friend often wears her glasses, however repeated attempts by my friends and I to convince her that she looks sexy and not believed - Go figure?

I think my TGF looks sexy in glasses. Glasses in Thailand are very inexpensive and make a great gift. My TGF was so pleased and proud of her new glass. Giving this gift made me feel so good. By the way the love making that night was sooo goood!

Thai girls with glasses are so sexy, in my opinion.
Our company has recently been subject to audit and the two auditors wore glasses so, so sexy!
My first long-term TGF who I picked up in a Pattaya beer bar wore glasses again so, so, so sexy!!
Being rather myopic myself, although I wear contact lenses, probable explains why I do not regard glasses as a bit of a turn off as I am sure other guys do.
There used to be a real cutie go-go dancer in 'Tilac' wearing glasses. Any ideas if she is still there?

Bandit ... maybe your in luck ... noticed a BG standing outside the bar opposite Tilak yesterday, with blonde hair AND glasses !!! my observations much the same as most Bros, many BGs could use glasses, but the cost, hassle of going to an optomertrist, and the fact they think [ rightly ?] they dont help them to look sexy, are reasons they dont usually bother - you do find many of the more affluent BGs/Freelancers etc wear contacts -
