LOL! I just had to sign up when I saw what MichaelBoy wrote....
I was in Bangkokchat for the first time last week. The first,
and yet the only, girl that I chatted with told me that she studies
tourism in the university in Phuket and that she would love to be
my guide if I come to see her...
She seemed honest and nice, she even told me about her fear of
water... but I know she is full of shit (she told that it was her
first time at that chat, and I doubt that there's a university in
Phuket), but I have not wanted to burst this girl's bubble... She's
nice and I like her emails. But I will dump her the very second she
sents me a mail with the word 'money' in it...
I'm glad that Bangkokchat does not have a cam chat, because she would
have seen me falling off my chair... I laughed so much when she wrote
to me that it is her first time in that chat...
The last time I remember laughing so much was when a girl in Rio's
Help disco told me that it was her first time there... LOL...
My question to you fellow chatters, how easily these girls start to
give hints about the possibility of having sex with them? I'm just
wondering because if she was a bar girl, I think she would have hinted
something. I wanted to test her and I asked what she, as my guide,
would show me to give me a real Thailand experience if I came there.
I was expecting an answer like "I will show you that Thailand girl is
the best" or something like that, but instead she told me that she wants
to show me some temples. Weird? She has avoided every subject that has
anything to do with sex.
In fact, she actually tried to tell me that she didn't know what porn is.
She asked my name and I told her and then she told me her name, but she
said that she doesn't like it and I commented that "be glad that your
name is not Porn". I know that Porn is a Thai female name. Then she
asked "Why? What's wrong with Porn?", and I asked her "don't you know
what Porn is in English?". She told me she has no idea. I explained to
her "you know, it is a film of people having sex". She just said "oh,
okay" and then she changed the subject. Come on, porn is just as universal
term as disco or auto, but she, a 22yo university student, is trying to
tell me that she doesn't know what porn is. Now is she trying to play a
goody-goody, or is there a possibility that 22yo chick does not know what
porn is???
On the other hand, she told me that she lives alone in Phuket and
that her family lives in the mainland... I think it's highly unlikely
in Thailand that this thing happens, unless she is a girl who moved
from her family to Phuket to become a bar girl, prostitute or whatever...
And by the way, I'm 22 and she says she's 21.
Anything you want to comment? Any experiences?

While you will obviously find all sorts on Bangkokchat and others that are similar, I can say that from what I've seen that 75% are "plain jane" university types that are prudes and not what guys on this board would be looking for. ÝThat doesn't mean they aren't very nice people, though.
However, ÝI have chatted with two real hotties that want to meet up. ÝNeither has mentioned sex or anything related to money. ÝThey are uni grads that have jobs, and go out to places like Q Bar or MOS with their friends (one lives at home with parents, the other on her own). Ý Ý I'm already taken, so have no intention to go out with these girls, although I would definitely give it a shot if I wasn't already attached in LOS... Ý ÝI guess I was just curious because I've heard some people talking about BKK Chat and wanted to see what it was all about. Ý Point is, if you are patient I think you can find some nice girls there. Ý ÝI think the odds of finding a "nice girl" are going to be a lot higher on BKK Chat than in Nana Plaza or in a disco, that's for sure. Ý Just my strong impression based on what I've seen there.
And to the guy above with the girl in Phuket, I would not be so quick to assume that this girl is full of shit. ÝI would bet you good money there is a Uni in Phuket, and she's probably just a student that wants a little excitement in her life that a farang could be for her... Ý At least I think the odds are slanted that way...

Rob1962 - I'll be damned - there IS a campus in Phuket! Who'da thunk it? As for being cynical, you're right, but a little cynicism is a good defence mechanism sometimes - read all the "readers' submissions" in Stickman as I have and you can't help it.
