- the queries I get, scams I see .... well, nothing surprises me anymore, - as to 5-10 emails, I can quote you some who knock out 50 a day, and use a well known Thai models pic. as there own ! - cynical - yes, I am very nowdays, but by the same token, I'm in no hurry to go live somewhere else, and of course every so often you will come across a genuine TG who restores that bit of faith.

Just thought I'd clear this thread up.
A freebie is not a freebie when you don't have to pay any money. A freebie is only a freebie when it cost you at least 2000bht.
I hope thats put an end to this question.

It seems to me that too many people think it's an either/or, black/white, all/nothing transaction we're talking about.
My experience is that if you are pleasant AND give the girls a fair amount, they will WANT to see you again. ÝI take it as no insult that they expect to be paid. ÝAnd when they know you can't/won't pay on a given night, AND you were pleasant (not even handsome or rich), they will "cast bread upon the water", and STILL enjoy the odd uncompensated romp. ÝThey know that you are a good guy, and good stuff will come back to them in time. ÝIt's really NOT all about money. ÝIt's about 'sabai-sabai'. ÝMoney is PART of the equation, for sure, and buys a lot of tolerance for your tomfoolery. ÝBut, the pleasure of each other's company is a motivator, too. ÝI've never seen it swing too far to one side, and last very long. ÝLike Casey's 2 girls, who took care of him in spite of no immediate gain, girls you enjoy will be relaxed about all this stuff. ÝPull the 'empty wallet' trick once too often, and you'll either simply not hear from them again, or find yourself stalked for the long-term commitment
Because I can't always keep track, I don't! ÝIf I'm short money, like Casey, I let them know. ÝAnd if they have moved beyond a one-night stand, to friendly acquaintance, and I know they are hurting, I will just hand them a few baht, no questions asked, no return expected.
Guys who are used to dealing with the pay-first, extra-charge-for-this, more-money-for-that trash that passes for women in the US and Europe, need to get this mentality out of their heads, if they are to have ANY fun in Thailand.
This board, thank the Cosmic Muffin, has very few true cheapskates who worry about the niggling sums we contribute to the TGs. ÝThose who do - sorry to hear it.
There used to be a great 24 hour restaurant in Culver City, California, just down the street from the Culver Studios. ÝIt was called Al Penny's, and had the biggest menu, longest salad bar, and biggest portions I can ever remember.
Al bought space on one of those HUGE outdoor billboards for the following sign:
"If you can't afford to tip, DON'T EAT OUT!" - Al Penny

A freebie is a freebie is you can have sex for free with no strings attached.

i agree a freebie is sex for no fee,no money exchanging hands.
but emotional ties may well be applied.
i have had freebies from more then one lady,but the emotions and feelings between us were probably the reason.

The reason I went with the "without emotions" part, was because I think it's hard to distinguish between bf and gf and a a passing relationship. That did not come out quite as well as I had hoped.
A freebie to me means "Free". Free of all things, including emotions. It's straight action. It's a simple black and white area with no grey line.
By taking into account emtions, then anyone in a relationship could claim that they are getting freebies all the times. Since they don't have to pay for anything.
But .... I do understand that emotions do play a huge part with many when having sex. And also understand you point of "i have had freebies from more then one lady,but the emotions and feelings between us were probably the reason."
And yes my friend, I do know whom you are talking about.

there are freebies without emotional ties and they are true freebies ..
then there are freebies with emotional ties and they are not so free, but the cost may be from minimal to exhorbitant ..
I have had both in the LOS (and the USA) .. I like the true freebies the best ..
A good alternative to freebies are "reasonably cheapies" .. these have the good side of no emotions so no baggage and don't have the high cost that some sex has .. had a lot of these over the years in Bkk/Pattaya and they are very good indeed

I must be showing my age these days but i generally find it easier to pay.
It is not that i cannot get women without paying but it is the emotional outlay that one has to invest that becomes tiring.
I never felt like that at 20 or 30 but suddenly at 40 it seemed easier to pay and get on with other things in my life.
This may sound sad to some but for the moment it suits me.
