You can always tell someone who knows nothing about a subject by their response.
Or as Sir Isaac Newton said,"Sir I have studied the subject you have not!" In fact at one time in the past Astromoners were also practicing Astrologers!
Anyway astrology is an art not a science. You can see future trends and patterns but cannoy predict the future, The Swiss psychologist CG Jung would often use it if he had a difficult profile of a patient to resolve. The conflict would often appear in the chart and give him guidance.
Sound like a lot of you watch Evangelical Christian TV and roll around on the floor. Very scientific !

Aquarius = air .15 is 1(Sun) + 5 (Mercury) 1+5 = 6(Venus)
GF Taurus =Earth .1(Sun) 0 (No value)
A one and a six I would say would not generally get on too well. They are from different harmonies. Both have the same Sun influence(1). Quite strong characters both.
You have some odd ideas and she is earthy and brings reality. The books say Aquarius and Taurus don't get on but that does not mean to say they are not attracted. I have seen many Aquarian-Taurus attractions.
I would think you have different ideas about things and argue a bit ?? But with Mercury probably strong in your chart somewhere they would be more lively than angry.
I would think that you are the Butterfly and she is more loyal but could be a handful in bed sometimes !!
Without the year of birth I would not know the all important aspects/conjunctions and position of the moon which is significant. I can see where your interest in the arts comes from. Does she accuse you of being arrogant? You know you don't mean to appear this way ?

That's only part of it. I see it as an art or fun thing in itself. Because its all down to INTERPRETATION of the planets/signs positions there is no science in it.
The general horscopes you read in the papers are just that-general. Not specific. To draw up a personal horoscope takes ages. A computer will produce the map even an interpretation but its never the same as drawing up the map with the books of tables.
Back in 1980 I went to the Festival of Mind Body & Spirit.
at Olympia London. There was an astrological company with a stall who used a computer and claimed companies used their services for staff assessment. They said to me Jimmy Carter would be re-elected and Prince Charles would not marry ! I said the exact opposite. I said Regan would be the next US President and Charles would marry the following year. They said if I was right they would do me a free horoscope. I got the free horoscope(normally quite expensive).
However I did not in the slightest way forsee the death(murder?) of Princess Diana. Nor did any other astologers nor did they see September 11th.
In the summer of 1981 I told a senior colleague at work that Mrs Thatcher and the British Government would be under serious threat around April 1982(Saturn crossed Thatcher's natal Sun position and opposed the rising degree in the UK horoscope =Aries 22deg).
I get it right sometimes. My colleague was stunned as nobody even thought about the Falklands in 1981 ?

In 1988 I told a seminar of Senior US Defense officals that within 5 years they would be recalling 200,000 Military Reservists for a national crisis, no magic, just making a point. It was just my dumb luck that Saddam decided to invade Kuwait in 1991.
I am the year of the Monkey. In my experience this is all the locals care about. Lets face it Astrology does not exactly fit in with the culture of SEA.

Interesting analysis of BG1 based on her birthday.
Strong character? Difficult to say, since she plays the demure little TG to a tee. Probably well aware that she can always get her own way (with me anyway) through eyelash fluttering.
Earthy & brings reality? I would say no. I like to play these BG relationships as pure 'otherworld' fantasy, and she plays along perfectly.
Different ideas & argue? I'm allowed to think that I'm in charge. Our relationship is a largely ideas-free zone, so again difficult to tell.
Handful in bed? ÝIíd say unusually highly-sexed for a TG her age (just turned 23).
Butterfly? The girlís a BKK go-go dancer, for Godís sake. I donít overdo my hopes on the faithfulness front, but no doubt the inner BG1 is chastity itself.
Thinks me arrogant? Doubt it ñ BGs rarely bring out my arrogance, & especially not her.
Most notable characteristics:
1) demure feminine charm (quite overpowering even by TG standards).
2) highly intuitive and remarkably sensitive to small mood changes.
2) inability to make things happen (anything she tries to organise usually goes wrong).
If I didnít know her bíday, Iíd have guessed Pisces.
