When guys sponser a young women they hardly know. What are they expecting for their money? Let's say they give 13,500 baht per month which equals $300USD at 45 baht to the USD. From what I understand the average Thai in BKK makes between 6K and 10k per month. The sponseree is making 13.5k can she make it on this? Or does she need to work? Let's say she doesn't need to work, what does the sponser expect from a young women to do with all her free time. Stay in her room or do what young men and women do when their young ie; go out with her friends at night and where do people go at night. Interesting questions, any answers?

Here's my take!!
I've also been on both sides of the fence, so to speak.
When I was sponsoring a female one of the ground rules was that she stop working and no other clients. So, I made sure that I covered all her expenses plus a pretty large amount spending money. Before all this took place I had a private investigator check out all of her information. To make a long story short, her information was accurate. She also knew that if she was caught going out with others that the sponsorship would stop. The P.I did spot checks on her and she never to my knowledge went out with anyone else.
I have been offered both freebies, as well as they want to be paid for females that I knew were being sponsored. I never took them up on their offer, even the freebies. Knowing that they had sponsorship to me meant that ŬI was actively stealing from another man. Not my style and in my book, grounds for getting ones ass kicked. Because if the roles were reversed and one of my thai friends or business associates saw one of our sponsored females out with another man, then they would confront that man and if he knew he would get his ass kicked. No doubt about that. So, I personally do not go there!!
So, word to the wise, there are others like me out there. So, if you decided to try and have fun with another guys female, you might suffer the consequences!! This is not meant to be a threat, but more a warning!! Do not want anyone to have a bad time in BKK!!

Most if not all girls who are 'sponsored' have more than 1 sponsor, each one ignorant of the others. As likely as not she is still working in a bar (or abnam, or freelancing) despite not "needing to".
I've known girls who were married to farang and living overseas, but who came back to Thailand once a year or more to "visit the family" but who actually spent most of the time in country back in the bar getting barfined.
And not because they needed the $$$.
The conventional wisdom is that they miss being sex objects, the sheer delight in getting f_cked by strangers and getting paid for it. The pleasure and the POWER of it.
The girls with multiple sponsors (anything up to a dozen or more) work as hard as any business executive juggling them, corresponding with them, taking phone calls from them, and keeping them from finding out about their rivals (or fellow suckers.)
Main danger is that another BG will rat the enterprising lady out to one of the sponsors, causing a scene. But, the other sponsors are still compartmentalized, so unless such a scheming other girl gets her master list or something, this business venture goes on indefinitely.
Not all BGs are this ambitious, but quite a few are, and as long as men keep falling for the whole Damsel in Distress, Whore with a Heart of Gold, Knight Errant to the Rescue game, well, there's no end to this in sight.
It seems to serve a deep felt need in many of us, to let ourselves fall into this.

that might be true, but I am 99.99% mine did not. The P.I that I hired was Thai and was able to get ALL her bank records, cell phone and home phone bill, family assets, birth certificate, ect. ŬEach month these were faxed to me with an explanation on who she called from each phone. ŬAlso, I have police and military connections that would check up on her as well as others. Not to mention my Thai friends. So, in her case, she never violated any of the rules that were set.
But, it is a good point for others to keep in mind!!

ABC: if a girl is sponsored by you, and is otherwise faithful, and some guy (Thai or farang) lays siege to her trying to get in her pants, then he deserves an ass kicking.
If however, the girl is taking your money and laughing at you while she goes out every night and works her way through the entire Seventh Fleet, what are you going to do? Declare war on the US Navy?
Furthermore, slavery was abolished here a long time ago. You don't really think you have her as a chatelaine do you? After all, you haven't married her.
All that talk about kicking ass (in a country where Thai kickboxing is the national sport) strikes me as a little less than mature. If a girl you are keeping has the wanderlust in her pussy, wear your horns as a cuckold just like everyone else, sit down and shut up, let her go and good riddance, and look for another who will give you better loyalty and value for your money.
Unless you reckon you are some sort of chao por? I've known and still know the real mccoys, and they don't spend their time planning vendettas on message boards.

ABC, no offense, but in my experience the boys in brown and the boys in green, blue, khaki etc are the most likely to be banging someone's wife and laughing behind their hands at him, so, my friend, who watches the watchers?
Anyway, it certainly sounds like you had a backlog of jealousy and possessiveness to work off. All that load of angst will just eat holes in your belly lining, or Thai your intestines in knots. And that's true regardless of her actual faithfulness. Those are corrosive emotions, you know what they say about always hurting the one you love?
Was she a love object or just a possesion?

Guys
Some great and well cosidered posts.
But last time we were on this subject someone made a short post
" you can take a girl out of a bar but you can't take a bar out of a girl"
Apologies to the orriginator.
For sure there will always be exceptions, but during my last trip my friend Gee picked up a girl in Beer Garden. He saw her a few times and never paid her.
He felt pretty bad when he finally found out that she had met and married a Scandinavian guy and was actually living there. She was back in BKK on vacation but had gone back to her roots.

If she wants to go out with others, cool with me. No support. Her choice. As for kicking the other guys ass. If he knew and decided to try and sleep with her anyways, then he's a bastard and will pay the price. She also would get the boot. No vendetta planning as you said. If she decided to screw the navy then so be it. But, she better hope that the U.S Navy will sponsor her the amount that I was.
And, fyi, after that experience, I have not sponsored a female since.
