I would think possibly her sponser was in the vicinity - the owner maybe ? - and yes, mentioning LT does not help, even tho she may well be a P4P, they dont like patrons to advertise the fact - Mention a meal, ask when she has a day off, and tell her she can bring a friend if she likes, also ask yourself, and in private - if she ignores you then.... well, as mentioned, move on to one of the other few thousand prospects nearby !

I guess all your replies make sense. I am still a little puzzled though; back home the 'dinner' line is standard fare, but I am flabbergasted to hear that one has to use it here (this is NEP we are talking about, after all).
I'm a little tired of playing the nice guy, and I've come out here to get away from those silly games.
