Maybe stunners invoke the Peter Principal (remember that?) whereby the guy overreaches his normal 'back home' catch and expects the world, performance wise from her, resulting in a less than satisfactory performance from him.
Whereas if he scores an average looker, like he is himself, the comfort factor goes up, along with his perfromance quality and hence the satisfaction received.
All in all, a wacking great 'Who Care's' theory.

FM my peter is always invoke into any stunner, but I think it is just basic statistics, so that being the case, I always go for better lookers so I do not get an ugly wake-up call in the morning.
But I think you are right, everyone has expectations that a stunner will be great in bed. No one is admitting to have a old sow being a flop.
