Hi TC73,
I read one story on this board, can't remember who's post it was, but the girl he had been with showed up at his room unannounced, demanded to be let in, made a scene in the hall when he tried to deny her, and continued on went he finally let her in the room. He obviously got himself into something more than he bargained for, as could you if you start saying sh*t you don't mean.
...but you know what, this is going to be your first trip right? Your probably going to fall in love anyways, so what I say doesn't even matter. It'll probably make for some good FRs when you return.

Tiger, I'll reiterate what I said before, and what many have said as well in this thread: GO THERE, and find out! Don't treat the girls as bitches, and they won't treat you like an asshole. Pretty easy formula. Have an open mind (which might be asking a lot), and you will have a great time.

Jesus, Tiger - you have a whole mass of material about LOS on this site alone. How many guys complain about stalkers? OK, there are nutters everywhere, and it's possible. So is getting run over by a tuk-tuk or falling under an elephant.
If you really enjoy worrying, here are some realistic dangers to worry about:
1) Losing your heart on the other side of the planet.
2) Making the most depressing trip in your life (the flight back home).
3) Acquiring a costly and incurable addiction to Thailand.
None of these things are long shots. Quite the reverse.
Otherwise, best to stuff all neuroses and hang-ups in an airport locker before leaving home. They just don't play well in LOS, which must be one of the least uptight places you can go.
